Air India flight lands after engine fire

A Mumbai-bound Air India flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Newark Airport in the US on Sunday (July 13) seconds after take-off because of an engine fire. The Boeing 777 had 313 passengers on board.

Details of the emergency landing now available with NDTV show that the flight, AI 144, had a close shave. It took off from Newark at 4.24 pm and was just about 100 feet above the ground when the Air Traffic Controller sounded an alert that there were flames coming out of the left hand side engine.

Here once again we will see how important the Capricorn Ingress is as an “Annual Chart”. Shown here is the sidereal Capricorn Ingress (Capsolar) at Newark. Its significance for the place cannot be overstated considering that a Grand Cross straddles the angles. On the Ascendant are the stars of the Virgin’s win, the Crow’s wing and China’s Great Red all combining with tropical Libra’s air element to produce air and space events. For these stars  Diana Rosenberg includes “fires and disasters”.

Further, when we progress this chart to July 13, the date of the event, the Grand Cross once again acquires prominence because of  its alignment with the meridian thus triggering the event. The elements of the cross explain the news.
