Astrology of the Alaska quake

A 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Anchorage, Alaska Friday morning, prompting people living in the city to run out of their offices and hide under their desks until the tremor had passed. Dec. 1 https://www.zerohedge.com/

In his book Mundane or National Astrology , H.S. Green observed :

Earthquakes are found to be associated with eclipses and with important planetary conjunctions and oppositions.

We are now in the shadow of a powerful conjunction of Mars and Neptune which will be exact on  Dec. 7.  Astrologers know that aspects that are still forming can be triggered by faster moving planets.  Currently  the slow moving Uranus and Neptune form a semi-square aspect.  On Nov. 30, Venus moved into  an exact opposition to Uranus preceded by a sesquisquare to Neptune on Nov. 29.

Presented here is the chart for the exact Venus-Neptune aspect drawn for Anchorage. Notice that the Mars-Neptune conjunction is on the MC, part of a T-square triggered by the separating Last Quarter Moon.

In ancient mythology, Neptune was referred to as the “earth shaker” and held to be responsible for earthquakes. Moreover, it is currently transiting stars  which according to  Diana Rosenberg cause “unusually powerful earthquakes and eruptions” [1]. She gives the following examples:

The gigantic eruption of Thera, Greece has been traced by scientists to “the summer of 1628 BCE” : the preceding Capricorn ingress had Saturn here; these stars were featured as well  when a severe quake “from the heart of Vesuvius” hit Pompeii in Feb. 63 CE, 16 years before an eruption buried the city; at the massive Lisbon earthquake/tsunami/fire of 1755, estimated at 9 Ritcher, that destroyed 85% of the city’s buildings; in 1783 when Mount Laki (Lakagigar), S. Iceland split open along an 8 mile stretch  – fountains of lava erupted at “a rate surpassing Niagara Falls;” at the Great New Madrid, MO quake of Dec. 1811, the first in a 54 day  series of massive earthquakes that hit the Mississippi Valley in 1811-12; at the 1902 eruption of Mt. Pelee that killed 29,000 – the entire population of Martinique; at the terrible Tokyo – Yokohama 8.3 earthquake of 1923 (143,000 dead and 200,000 injured). Mars was here at 9.0 Japanese quake-tsunami of 2011 that wiped out entire cities, killing tens of thousands and severely damaging Tukushima-Saiichi nuclear power plant.

If outer events are  also indicative of inner events in our lives, here are a few things one can expect:

* Sudden changes or disruptions in relationships
* Sudden changes or disruptions in agreements or contracts
* The desire for breakthrough and change

PS:

The reported time of the quake is 9:30 am on Nov. 30. A chart for the event has Sun just rising square the Mars-Neptune forming conjunction.
