Astrology of the 'fiscal cliff'

The New Moon eclipse of 13^th November takes place conjunct the star Unukalhai (Alpha Serpens), which along with Beta Serpens, form the neck and head of the serpent. These stars impel us to demonstrate our true self-mastery by reaching beyond our past patterns and the entrapments. If we do not choose new experience we stay entrapped in our past patterns. This Lunar Eclipse brings realization to our Beta Centauri Lunar Cycle. It reveals the need to step forth as leaders and pioneers while standing in the midst of chaos and the diversionary conditions of human life. It brings attention to the physical infrastructures in our lives and if and how they are supporting our fundamental  physical needs. It reveals our need to take the action in self-mastery to manifest the visions we hold for our lives. One of the most common things forgotten of Taurus is the need to take action, without it, our visions do not manifest and we remain entrapped in the chaos and confusion of stormy Hyades. Physical action is essential.[1]

The above description from Nick Fiorenza quite aptly describes the crisis facing the US being called the ‘fiscal cliff’ and the challenge facing the leadership. In the United States, the fiscal cliff is a newly coined term referring to the effect of a number of laws which, if unchanged, by 1^st Jan 2013 could result in tax increases, spending cuts, and a corresponding reduction in the budget deficit

Shown above is the Full Moon lunar eclipse chart of 28 Nov at Washington. Notice that a Yod with the eclipse at the apex is prominently placed on the angles. The eclipse chart progressed to 1^st Jan 2013 brings the Full Moon to the meridian axis(see below) implying that the eclipse and the Yod are fully activated on that date.“A Yod is a special challenge to constructively alter and bring into clearer focus thatwhich impairs the total functioning of the individual. A Yod that is activated is very much like arriving at a fork in the road and having to take one or another path. This is not a matter of conscious or deliberate decision but instead is one due to unrecognised necessity.” [2]

Two other charts seem to suggest that the US is more likely than not to go over the ‘fiscal cliff’. Both  (a)  The Capricorn Ingress chart (b) the chart for 1^st Jan 2013, 0:00 hrs  have the now familiar Kronos-Hades-Pluto-Uranus T-square firmly on the angles along with Sun conjunct Pluto. Kronos-Hades is the stupidity of leaders or more politely a deterioration of the executive function and Uranus-Pluto can be read as the collapse of an order on account of this.

P.S. In China Houng-Sing - the Star of Balance was a group of stars (in the area our Centaurus). One of them was 7Sc43. The Lifting Mechanism or the fulcrum was another group of stars called Wou-Tchou. Kou-Leou , The Treasury, stars surrounding Houng-Sing and Wou-Tchou on three sides, represented the

ImperialTreasury (three of these stars in Centaurus are placed at 2sc29,0sc53, 1sc30) allthese fairly close to the MC and Venus-Saturn in the eclipse chart above. Is it a coincidence that with these stars the crisis called the ‘the fiscal cliff’ concerns the US Treasury?
