Aries Ingress and the mastery of nuclear fusion

Hercules taming the Horses of Diomedes

Lockheed Martin has secretly been developing a game-changing compact nuclear fusion reactor that could potentially fit into a fighter jet. The Maryland-based defense contractor recently obtained a patent associated with its design for a fully compact fusion reactor, after filing for the patent in 2014.  March 31

Nuclear energy is another name for atomic energy. It’s the energy released from the inner core or nucleus of the atom and during the 1950s it was harnessed to generate electricity. Nuclear fission (Pluto) and nuclear fusion are examples of nuclear reactions. A nuclear reactor is a device for producing nuclear energy in a controlled manner. In nuclear physics, nuclear fusion is a reaction in which two or more atomic nuclei come close enough to form one or more different atomic nuclei and subatomic particles (neutrons or protons). In contrast…

Reparations for Colonialism and Genocide

The theme of reparations at the 2018 World Social Forum in Salvador de Bahia was treated in the workshop Repairs to Colonialism (page 113), in the World Assembly of Resistance Peoples, Movements and Territories and in the Agora of futures. In these activities participated some hundred people, many of whom representatives of other organizations. It was made a point of the situation on the reparations in recent years trying to identify actions most promising for the future.

The World Social Forum (WSF) took place in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil from March 13 to 17, 2018 just as Mars entered Capricorn. A chart for this mundane event drawn for Salvador is presented here. Notice that Uranus-Pluto are is still in a paran square (Pluto on the descendant with Uranus on the MC) at Salvador, although separating in the longitudinal square. To remind ourselves what this square means, I give below an extract from Bill Herbst…

Is the US headed for a war with Russia?

Today nobody seems to be aware that we are about to go to war, possibly a thermonuclear war, where casualties will be counted in the hundreds of millions. All because of what? Because the people of the West have accepted, or don’t even know, that they are ruled by an ugly gang of ignorant, arrogant psychopaths. Capitalism needs war and a world hegemony to survive. The AngloZionist Empire is about to collapse, the only open question is how and at what cost. Right now they are expelling Russian diplomats en masse and they are feeling very strong and manly. The truth is that this is only the tip of a much bigger iceberg. In reality, crucial expert-level consultations, which are so vitally important between nuclear superpowers, have all but stopped a long time ago.We are down to top level telephone calls. That kind of stuff happens when two sides are about to go to war.

Tragic blaze engulfs mall in Russia’s Kemerovo

“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
― Gospel of Thomas

As rescuers continue to search the burned-out shopping mall in the city of Kemerovo, many have been frantically trying to reach their relatives, including children who were in the mall’s cinema or play area when the fire started. Some 37 people were killed in the blaze, the Russian Investigative Committee has confirmed. At least 11 children were among the victims. Amid conflicting reports, some have described the source of the fire as the children’s playground, suggesting that the trampoline there caught fire after a child allegedly misused a lighter. Another version suggests that electrical wiring at the playground had short-circuited. March 25;

China Shuts Door on US Trash Imports

The new trade war announced by US President Donald Trump is seeing some immediate and effective blowback in the form of a refusal by Beijing to lift its ban on the import of foreign garbage.China has long been the world's largest importer of waste and recyclable commodities. Now that Trump has threatened harsh new tarrifs in an escalating trade war, Beijing has announced that it will not overturn a new ban on accepting shipments of garbage from the US and other countries, leaving industrialized nations scrambling for options on how to dispose of an ever-mounting landscape of trash. As China in 2016 was responsible for accepting some 80 percent of US recyclable waste, the move has business and legislators pleading with Beijing to roll back new restrictions on waste imports. A Washington representative told a World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting on Friday that China's ban on scrap imports was "disruptive' and hinted that Beijing would be to blame for rapidly escalatin…

US Threatens Trade War Against China

President Donald Trump unveiled the measures yesterday, following a seven-month investigation by the administration, targeting China, under Section 301 of the 1974 US Trade Act. The administration has drawn up a list of more than 1,000 products that could be targeted. The details will be released within the next few days, after which businesses will have 30 days in which to respond before a final decision is made. The treasury has been ordered to draw up recommendations within 60 days to lay out specific restrictions on investments by Chinese companies, state-owned enterprises and sovereign wealth funds in the US.Mar.23
The Sun entered Aries on March 21 and  quickly moves into a square with Mars-Saturn in Capricorn. Squares symbolize friction, so that that this interactiongenerates anger and resentment. Mars and Saturn do not always get along, because Mars is hot and Saturn is cold (in a psychological sense).Bot…

France erupts in violence against Macron

ANGER has erupted against French President Emmanuel Macron’s nationwide reforms with tear gas being unleashed on protestors in angry scenes on the streets of Paris and Nantes. Thousands took part in a rallies across the country over the leader’s enforced changes this morning. Mar.22

It is always good to cast a chart for any planetary event that takes place. If the chart brings important configurations to the angles we should then pause to examine what it means for the place where it occurs.
The Sun entered Aries on March 21 and immediately moved into a square with Mars in Capricorn – the sign that rules the establishment. Squares symbolize friction, so that that the Sun-Mars interaction generates anger against authority figures. In addition Mars, in Capricorn, moves into a conjunction with Saturn so that Sun will square both Mars and Saturn in turn.
A chart for Mercury station on March 23 brings the Sun-Mars-Saturn configuration along with the TNPs Kronos-Hades to the angles at Paris i…

Venus-Pluto and the death of the petrodollar

The birth of Venus, 1496
Sandro Boticelli

For decades, the US has been able to exclude virtually any country it wants from international trade. Right now, if one country wants to trade with another, it basically needs US permission first. That’s because (for a short while longer) the US dollar is the world’s most important currency. The US Navy also dominates the world’s oceans, controlling most major shipping lanes. But China is building a new international system. Eventually, it will let China and its trading partners totally bypass the US. The Shanghai International Energy Exchange is introducing a crude oil futures contract denominated in Chinese yuan. It will allow oil producers to sell their oil for yuan. China knows most oil producers don’t want a large reserve of yuan. So producers will be able to efficiently convert it into physical gold through gold exchanges in Shanghai and Hong Kong. As of March 26, countries around the world will have a genuine, viable way to opt out of the …

Jordan Peterson Brings a Message of Hope to the Multitudes

The Sermon on the Mount - Jesus' radical manifesto for real life

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past year and a half, you've probably heard of Dr. Jordan Peterson, Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, Canada. Described as a "rockstar psychologist" by some in the mainstream media, the good professor has been on a whirlwind tour in recent weeks, bringing knowledge to the masses via a series of public lectures and Q&A sessions in support of his new book, 12 Rules For Life: An Antidote to Chaos. Dr Peterson's touring schedule of Australia was relatively modest: a series of four appearances, the first in Melbourne (on March 8), the next two in Sydney (originally just one show was scheduled; a second was added due to popular demand), and finishing up in Brisbane.

My Lai Massacre: History In The Stars

Fifty years ago, a platoon of US soldiers stormed the quiet hamlet of My Lai in South Vietnam, unleashing a barrage of gunfire, grenades and sexual assault which left as many as 500 dead.
On March 16, 1968 an army unit entered My Lai. The troops were ordered to lay waste to anything "walking, crawling or growing" on a search and destroy mission that lasted four hours and left the village razed to the ground. Not even crops or livestock were spared. The atrocities of My Lai would remain largely hidden for 20 months, until vivid images and accounts of the massacre appeared in newspapers, shocking Americans and sparking massive anti-war protests.

The table below gives the solar arc directions and transits for the US Sibly in 1967-68, covering the period of the My Lai Massacre.

UK chart and the Skripal poisoning

Britain’s abandonment of due process has taken a dangerous and reckless leap, with Theresa May declaring economic sanctions and diplomatic expulsions for Russia’s “failure” to respond to allegations over the Skripal poisoning. Provocatively, Moscow was given a 24-hour deadline to “answer” charges leveled by the British government that it was responsible for the attempted murder of a Russian double agent, Sergei Skripal, who had been living in England since 2010 after a spy-swap deal.Skripal (66) and his 33-year-old daughter Yulia were apparently stricken with a deadly nerve agent in his adopted hometown of Salisbury on March 4 while strolling through a public park. The pair have been receiving treatment in intensive care ever since.

In this post we will attempt to show how UK’s national chart [1 Jan. 1801; 0:00 LMT; London] which is more than 200 years old can still reflect significant events such as this one in the news. The c…

UK to expel Russian diplomats

The UK will expel 23 Russian diplomats after Moscow refused to explain how a Russian-made nerve agent was used on a former spy in Salisbury, the PM says. Theresa May said the diplomats, who have a week to leave, were identified as "undeclared intelligence officers". She also revoked an invitation to Russia's foreign minister, and said the Royal Family would not attend the Fifa World Cup later this year. Russia denies being involved in the attempted murder of Sergei Skripal. Mar. 14

Anybody who follows the news intelligently cannot fail to notice that quite often there are a run of symbolically similar events. It appears that the drama of life is continuously being shaped by similar themes but we are too distracted by externals to register the deeper connections.

The Mercury-Saturn square that was exact on March 11 fell on the angles in Nepal, India and the UK. In astrology Mercury has a well known connection to modes of communication, th…

Stephen Hawking dies

World renowned physicist Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76. He died peacefully in his home in Cambridge in the early hours of Wednesday, his family said. He was known for his work with black holes and relativity, and wrote several popular science books including A Brief History of Time. "We are deeply saddened that our beloved father passed away today," his children said. At the age of 22 Stephen Hawking was given only a few years to live after being diagnosed with a rare form of motor neurone disease. The illness left him wheelchair-bound and largely unable to speak except through a voice synthesiser. 14 Mar.

In the last post, I attributed the aircrash in Nepal to the Mercury-Saturn square which appeared on the angles at Kathmandu. A chart for the same square at Cambridge has it once again placed sharply on the angles. It is actually a T-square with the TNPs Kronos-Hades and the asteroid Requiem (death) on the IC.

Mercury-Saturn and the Nepal air crash

A plane carrying 71 passengers and crew has crashed on landing at Nepal's Kathmandu airport, killing at least 38 people. At least 17 survived. Rescuers pulled bodies from the charred wreckage of the plane, operated by Bangladeshi airline US-Bangla, after a raging fire was put out. The flight landed at 14:20 local time (08:35 GMT), according to flight tracking website FlightRadar24. 12 March

Charts for exact planetary aspects are of great significance especially when the planets fall in aspect to the horizon or meridian axis. A chart for the Mercury-Saturn square of March 11 has it straddling the horizon axis at Kathmandu. This aspect is well known to be connected with travel related accidents. Moreover, the square completes a T with the TNP Kronos (related to aircrafts) on the ascendant. So putting the pieces together the chart is indicative of an aircraft accident.

In addition, the accident took place just a day before the Waning Cresce…

China's Xi to remain 'president for life'

China has approved the removal of term limits for its leader, in a move that effectively allows Xi Jinping to remain as president for life. The constitutional changes were passed by China's annual sitting of the National People's Congress on Sunday. Mar.11

The constitutional changes in China come just before the Sun enters Aries on March 21, a very important mundane astrology event, signaling the beginning of the astrological new year. A chart for the Aries ingress of the Sun drawn for Beijing is shown here. On the MC [28vi16] of the chart is the star Benetnasch [27vi11]
Benetnasch (Eta, Ursa Major) is the Tail of the Great Bear. The Arabic name for Benetnasch is Alkaid, which means "the leader." Benetnasch expresses one of the classical seven rays. Benetnasch teaches that leadership is about facilitating the self-empowerment and freedom of others rather than about exerting manipulative force that controls others, mist…
