Apple CEO Tim Cook Is ‘Proud to Be Gay’

The CEO of Apple announced he’s gay Thursday, in an essay that puts him among the highest-profile publicly out business leaders in the world. “I’m proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me,” Tim Cook, who took the reins of the world’s most valuable company from the late co-founder Steve Jobs, writes in Bloomberg Businessweek. The highly private Cook has never publicly acknowledged his sexuality, though it was widely rumored outside the company, and he writes that colleagues at Apple already knew. http://time.com/3547893/tim-cook-gay-apple/ Timothy Donald "Tim" Cook  was born November 1, 1960 in Mobile , Alabama . His radix Sun [9sc] is conjunct Neptune [9sc] and opposite Hades [9ta] – the TNP associated with secrets. About this conjunction in Tim’s chart Astropost [1] writes: Kind of interesting that the CEO of Apple is a man with Sun conjunct Neptune in his natal chart. This aspect signals discretion, 'double l

Ukraine, Russia, EU agree to natural gas supply deal

BRUSSELS, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Ukraine, Russia and the European Union signed a deal on Thursday that will see Moscow resume vital supplies of gas to its ex-Soviet neighbour over the winter in return for payments funded in part by Kiev's Western creditors. After several failed rounds of talks in recent weeks as conflict rumbles on despite a ceasefire with pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine , the accord also eases concerns that a new "gas war" could disrupt winter supplies if energy to EU states, notably through pipelines shut down across Ukraine since June. With overnight temperatures already nudging below freezing in Ukraine , European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso hailed an accord clinched in Brussels barely 24 hours before he and the rest of his team make way for a new EU executive. http://reut.rs/1wLBlQy To understand this very positive development in a region torn by conflict we will  go back to the April 15, 2014 Lunar Eclipse which was culm

Japan needs to reassess alliance with US

Japan will today begin exercises with the U.S. Army on its northernmost island of Hokkaido , a day after it started naval maneuvers with Russia 500 miles (800 kilometers) away off the coast of Vladivostok . The drills illustrate the balance Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe must strike between his attempts to mend relations with Russia and the need to bolster his country’s alliance with the U.S. as a backstop to a more assertive China in the region. “What’s difficult for Japan is that the alliance with the U.S. is the centerpiece of its security policy,” said Taisuke Abiru, a research fellow specializing in Russia at research group The Tokyo Foundation. “How can they maintain this alongside relations with Russia ? This is an extremely important problem for Prime Minister Abe now.”  Oct 27. http://bloom.bg/1DByn18 Shown here is the chart for Japan based on the postwar constitution going into effect. The Crisis in U.S.-Israel Relations Is Officially Here

Oct. 30 (Bloomberg) -- The White House defended its commitment to Israel as it sought to tamp down controversy over an anonymous comment attributed to a top Obama administration official denigrating Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu lashed out at the comment, contained in an article in The Atlantic magazine. An unidentified senior U.S. official is quoted by columnist Jeffrey Goldberg calling Netanyahu a “chickensh-t” who’s afraid to reach an accommodation with the Palestinians or Sunni Arab states. The flap threatened to worsen already tense relations between President Barack Obama and Netanyahu, amid a deepening feud with the U.S. over Israeli construction in contested east Jerusalem . http://bloom.bg/1wHgGx1   A Davison relationship chart drawn for Israel [14.05.1938;16:37 EET, Tel Aviv] and the US Sibly [4.07.1776; 17:14 LMT, Philadelphia ] works out to [9.06.1862;18:26 GMT, 36°N00'34'', 020°W11'55'']. Antares Rocket Explodes at Lift-Off

(Reuters) - An unmanned Antares rocket exploded seconds after liftoff from a commercial launch pad in Virginia on Tuesday, marking the first accident since NASA turned to private operators to deliver cargo to the International Space Station, but officials said no one was hurt. The 14-story rocket, built and launched by Orbital Sciences Corp, blasted off its seaside launch pad at the Wallops Flight Facility at 6:22 p.m. EDT (Oct. 28) carrying a Cygnus cargo ship for the space station. It exploded in a huge fireball moments later. In this case we will see how several cosmic factors working together have become the cause of the accident.  We  start with the most important factors which I term the “hour hand” of the clock. Here we have at least two (a) the sidereal Capricorn Ingress  also called the “Capsolar” (b) the current Full Moon Lunar Eclipse of October 8. But first let us  look at the Capsolar and progress it to the date of the event. Notice that the Capsolar has

Protection plan 'will not save Great Barrier Reef'

Australia 's Academy of Science says an Australian government draft plan to protect the Great Barrier Reef will not prevent its decline. The group said the Reef 2050 Long-Term Sustainability Plan failed to address key pressures on the reef including climate change and coastal development. Much bolder action was needed, said Academy Fellow Professor Terry Hughes. "The science is clear, the reef is degraded and its condition is worsening," said Prof Hughes. "This is a plan that won't restore the reef, it won't even maintain it in its already diminished state," he said in a statement released on Tuesday. BBC; Oct. 28 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-29782610 To understand this news I take readers back to the April 15 Lunar Eclipse. The chart for the eclipse is drawn for Canberra , where Australia 's Academy of Science has its headquarters. Notice that the eclipse was very significant for the place since the luminaries were ali

UK house prices in biggest monthly fall in a year

House prices in England and Wales fell by 0.2% in September - the biggest monthly fall in nearly a year, according to the Land Registry. Annual house price inflation also fell, from 8.4% in August, to 7.2% in September. That is the first time since May 2013 that the yearly rate has gone down, the Land Registry said. The largest monthly fall was in Yorkshire and Humberside, where prices declined by 2.2%. The average house price is now £177,299, well short of the peak of £181,324 in November 2007.  BBC; 28 October 2014 http://www.bbc.com/news/business-29799937 It is well known that an eclipse creates major changes especially in areas ruled by the house it falls. US used Nazis as Cold War spies

Declassified US records reveal the nation's intelligence chiefs used hundreds of Nazis as spies and informants after World War Two. Central Intelligence Agency officials are said to have turned to the country's former enemies to help beat the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Academics studying the documents say America used at least 1,000 ex-Nazis. With the eclipse here placed in tropical Scorpio – the sign linked to spies and spying – is at all surprising that we are hearing news about the use of ex-Nazis for spying? History in the stars – Emperor Constantine

The Battle of the Milvian Bridge took place between the Roman Emperors Constantine I and Maxentius on 28 October 312. It takes its name from the Milvian Bridge , an important route over the Tiber . Constantine won the battle and started on the path that led him to end the Tetrarchy and become the sole ruler of the Roman Empire . Maxentius drowned in the Tiber during the battle. According to chroniclers such as Eusebius of Caesarea and Lactantius, the battle marked the beginning of Constantine 's conversion to Christianity. It is commonly stated that on the evening of 27 October with the armies preparing for battle, Constantine had a vision which led him to fight under the protection of the Christian God. The details of that vision, however, differ between the sources reporting it. According to one version, Constantine with his army was marching when he looked up to the sun and saw a cross of light above it, and with it the Greek words "Εν Τούτ ῳ Νίκα",

Giant gold 'Butte Nugget’ sells to secret Bay Area buyer

Just one day after it was unveiled to awed crowds in San Francisco , the whopping 'Butte Nugget’ of gold sold Friday (Oct.24) to a “prominent Bay Area collector” for an undisclosed amount of money, according to the company brokering the deal. “The new owner wants to be secretive, so we can’t name him,” said Don Kagin of Tiburon, the coin dealer who acted as middle-man between the buyer and the prospector who found the 6.07-pound gold lump — the biggest nugget of its kind found in modern times in Gold Rush country. http://bit.ly/10uylMF The Full Moon lunar eclipse of April 14, 2014 at San Francisco had the Sun [25ar] placed in the fourth house and part of a Grand Cross that straddled the meridian axis. Analysis of the US-Russia Relationship Chart

What is a Davison relationship chart? The Davison relationship chart [DRC] was named for Ronald C. Davison (1914-1985), author and president of the Astrological Lodge of the Theosophical Society of London.  The date and time can be determined by calculating the day that lies exactly between the natal charts of those involved. The same principle is also applied to the times of birth. If the individuals involved have different places of birth a combined "place of birth" is calculated by taking the average values of latitude and longitude. Even if the combined place of birth is located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean , the DRC is still a concrete horoscope for a specific time, place, and location which can, like any natal chart, be used as a basis to calculate solar return charts, progressions and the effect of transits. http://wiki.astro.com/astrowiki/en/Davison_Relationship_Chart Shown here is the Davison Relationship Chart (DRC) for Russia and th

Sino-Russian co-operation flourishes amid sanctions

China is strengthening economic ties with Russia in areas ranging from finance and IT to rail and energy, providing support to a Russian economy strained by Western sanctions.    Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, visiting Russia , met with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Monday (Oct.13). Some 40 agreements were reached on economic partnerships, including a currency swap framework. The deal, effective for three years and worth 150 billion yuan ($24.5 billion), enables their central banks to access each other's currency in a financial crisis. Russian banks and energy-related companies are struggling to raise funds amid economic sanctions from Europe and the U.S. over the Ukraine issue. China would be able to tap its abundant foreign-currency reserves as needed. Nikkei, Asian Review, Oct 15. http://s.nikkei.com/1pMr807 The news is dated Oct. 15. On that date was the Last Quarter Moon phase, the chart for which is shown here drawn for Moscow . Notice that
