Then said Jesus unto him, “Put up
again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish
with the sword”. Matthew 26:52, King James Version
“The ultimate weakness of violence is
that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy,
instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it” Martin Luther King, Jr.
Two US
volunteer firefighters have been shot dead and two injured while responding to
an emergency call in the town of Webster in New York state. Police
said the four were fired upon in an "apparent trap" as they arrived
on Monday morning. The blaze broke out just before 06:00 local time (11:00 GMT)
and officers had to evacuate nearby residents in an armoured car. A gunman has
been found dead at the scene, local police say. The man was 62-year-old William
Spengler, Webster Police Chief Gerald Pickering told media.
In a
previous Astrology of the Newtown school massacre
[1] I had analyzed that event in the backdrop of the 21st May solar
eclipse. Since this event has taken place in the same general area it may be
worthwhile to take a relook at that post. The eclipse charts are also similar.
H.S. Green in his book Mundane or
National Astrology writing about eclipses says:
The strongest effect is felt in
those parts in which it is visible, especially if it is also angular, i.e.,
rising, culminating or setting; and it is experienced next in countrie sruled
by the sign containing the luminary.
The Annular Eclipse of 21st
May in Pleaides was a spectacular event seen at sunrise in Japan and at
sunset throughout most of the north-west American continent. At Newtown , Connecticut
it was setting (see chart below). And Raphael lists USA among the countries ruled by
the sign Gemini in which the eclipse took place so that all three conditions
mentioned by H.S. Green are fulfilled.
The Pleiades causes bereavement,
mourning, sorrows and tragedies. [The Living Stars, Dr. Eric Morse, p.39.]In
ancient China ,
the Pleaides were Mao, seen as part of a Hunting Net.[Readers may note that firemen
walked into an "apparent trap"] The Autumn hunt was a huge massacre
of animals in which the emperor himself, in his war uniform, took part.
In the
progressed chart of the eclipse for Monday, 24th December, the date
of the incident we find the eclipse on the meridian axis and the progressed
Ascendant [11Vi03] conjunct Mars [10Vi51]
and the star Zosma [11Vi30]. As mentioned before Bernadette Brady associates
this star with victims of calamities. Two other authors provide more
perspective on this star.
Zosma of
Leo, one of the three stars creating the hind of the Lion. Zosma is of foul or
diversionary winds, and can also be indicative of being diverted due to our own
toxicity, or of those that around us. We can get swirled and tossed around in
the psycho-dramatics created by others performing on the stage of the human
world.[2]
"Who
can doubt the nature of the monstrous Lion, and the pursuits he prescribes for
those born beneath his sign? The lion ever devises fresh fights and fresh
warfare on animals, and lives on spoil and pillaging of flocks…. Their temper
is equally prone to fitful wrath and ready withdrawal, and guileless are the
sentiments of their honest hearts" [Astronomica, Manilius, 1st century AD,
p.237.]
Perhaps it
is time to ask why these incidents [linked to the same stars here] keep
re-occurring. Eric Francis writing in Planet Waves may have an answer:
When 88 people die in 16 mass
shooting incidents in one year, that’s begging for a cause and effect
relationship. In 2007, there were 12,632 homicides with guns committed in the United States ,
about 242 a week. Part of the systemic problem involves the aggression of the United States
government. Most people don’t like to look at this. Some still believe we
“liberated” the Iraqis. Does that include the 500,000 children killed by lack
of fresh water during the Clinton
years, which then-Secretary of State Madeleine Albright admitted to on 60
Minutes?[3]
