Astrology of a Chinese wheelchair man’s violent protest

When a man in a wheelchair detonated a small home-made bomb in Beijing's international airport in July, he momentarily captured the world's attention. Ji Zhongxing, 34, was being prevented by police from handing out leaflets at the airport which described the desperate story of his life. Witnesses said that Ji then shouted out: "I have a bomb, stay away from me!" And then he set off the device.
On 28 June 2005, Ji Zhongxing was allegedly beaten by security officials during a chase after they demanded to see his licence. On 20 July 2013, he carried an explosive device into Beijing International Airport. The explosion blew off his own hand and one policeman was slightly injured. On 15 October 2013, a court in Beijing found him guilty and sentenced him to six years in prison.

Here is the chart for the 25 May 2013 lunar eclipse at Beijing. Since it is placed on the meridian axis by the rules of mundane astrology it should be very important for the place. H.S. Green interprets the meaning of a fourth house eclipse thus:

“Unfortunate for Government; the people suffer in some way; ill feeling between the people and the upper classes”

The Sun [4ge] is part of the Chinese asterism T’ien-Tsan, the Celestial Slanderer which had much to do with slander, gossip and accusations.  This asterism was associated with a time of strictness, punishment and flogging. In western astrology this is where we have the right leg and foot of Perseus. Mercury[19ge]  and Venus [19ge] are conjunct the stars of the constellation Auriga, the Charioteer, which Diana Rosenberg shows as a “Man in a Wheelchair”. According to legend Erichthonius invented the chariot because being half serpent he could not walk!

Progressing the chart to 15 Oct 2013, the date of his conviction, the progressed IC reaches the conjunction to the eclipse Sun. The Sabian symbol of the eclipse Sun is very relevant here.
