Abduction of Europa by
Jean Baptist
In 1990, at the age of five, Luo Gang was kidnapped
and sold to a family in another part of China . Unable to remember his
parents' names or the village they lived in, he stood little chance of ever
going home. But 23 years later he did.
"I flew to Chongqing and at 09:20 on the morning of 9
May I met my parents. I was quite calm but my mum was really excited and she
cried." The whole village turned out to meet their lost son. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-24526210
Shown above
is the chart for the solar eclipse of 10 May at Chongqing . Placed at 19ta31 it is square the
meridian axis from the 12th house – a house connected with
confinement and loss of freedom [1] . The eclipse is conjunct the stars Kappa
Ceti, jaws of Cetus[18ta30], 4 Persei [20ta07]. Close by is 65 Andromedae [22ta0], the snagged
foot of the Chained Woman Andromeda in
the jaws of the sea monster Cetus. Here Perseus, the Hero, battles and overcomes, frustrations, darkness
and difficulties, clearing a way to the light. [2] Conjunct the MC [7pi02] of
the eclipse chart is the star Gamma (γ) Aquarius, Sadalachbia, [6pi54] a 4th magnitude greenish star in the
right arm of the Water Bearer, and the westernmost star, at the inner edge of
the Urn. About this star Dr Eric Morse says [3]:
"The Lucky Star of Hidden Things".
…it indicates the ability to discover that which is hidden or lost.”
On the
Ascendant is Jupiter [19ge23] in sidereal Taurus. This is conjunct Haedus II, [19ge37]
one of the two baby goats in the left arm of Auriga, the Charioteer. Diana Rosenberg lists under these stars “events and issues relating to children
including kidnapping” [4] . In Roman mythology the bull of Taurus
represents the god Jupiter who turned himself into a bull in order to kidnap
the maiden Europa, who he took to the island of Crete . [5]
A chart
drawn for the exact time of Luo Gang’s reunion with his family is shown below. Notice
Jupiter [19ge23] squares the meridian
axis so that the entire story of a kidnapped child is brought to a happy end
with Perseus, the hero (Luo Gang) finally having overcoming Cetus the monster
that had devoured him!
