Auriga – the Charioteer
Michael Schumacher, the seven-time Formula 1
champion, is in a critical condition after a skiing accident, says the French
hospital treating him. The 44-year-old German suffered serious brain trauma,
was in a coma on arrival and underwent a brain operation. The accident took
place in the French ski resort of Meribel on Sunday morning.
It is well known in astrology that the influence of a
lunation can begin prior to its actual
occurrence. ‘Backwards’ causation is not
as bizarre as it might appear and is well known in modern physics. Shown here
is the chart of the upcoming New Moon of 1 Jan 2014 at Meribel. Notice that it
is very significant since it is on the MC [5cp38] and brings with it the current
Uranus-Pluto-Mars T-square to the
angles. On 29 December, when the
accident occurred, the Sun and Mercury were conjunct at 7cp42 on the MC and the
star Facies
[8cp28]
M22
Sagittarius, Facies, is the nebula in front of the Archer's face.
The astrological influence of the nebula Facies [1]
Much blamed for accidents and broken limbs and so on. The Latin name is from the
verb Facere, to make or do something, and it is often said to portend accidents
due to the victim's own careless actions. Naturally, there is a positive side
to Facies, it symbolizes well that kind of Sagittarian who goes out to climb mountains, race cars, enter the
ski-jump team or the Grand National steeplechase, making it right to the
top and no doubt breaking a few bones along the way. On the more philosophical
side it will mark those who must see their outlook and beliefs carried into
practical effect somewhere, so that they go out on missions, set up their own
churches and centers engage in good works of famine or refugee relief and so
on. Inevitably they get hurt at times, but perhaps find compensation in the
value of their works. [The Living Stars, Dr. Eric Morse, p.94-95.]
Uranus
[8ar] is conjunct the Ascendant [11ar] both of which conjunct stars in King
Cepheus’ head so that Diana Rosenberg lists, “head ailments or injuries, head wounds” among possible
manifestations of these stars [2].
The TNP
Kronos [7cn46] on the IC is conjunct WW
Aurigae [7cp06]. Auriga is the Charioteer – an older version of a modern
racing car driver!
