Metaphor Alert: The U.S. Capitol Dome Is Cracked

Over 250 feet from the ground, the nearly 9 million pound steel dome that caps the U.S. Congress has been split by over 1,000 cracks. Vulcan’s building blocks haven’t stood the test of time well, and the Apotheosis, among other artwork, is now in danger, says the Architect of the Capitol Stephen Ayers. http://ti.me/19hcwTT

The Apotheosis of Washington depicts George Washington sitting amongst the heavens in an exalted manner, or in literal terms, ascending and becoming a God (apotheosis). Washington, the first U.S. president and commander-in-chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, is allegorically represented, surrounded by figures from classical mythology. Washington is draped in purple, a royal color, with a rainbow arch at his feet, flanked by the goddess Victoria (draped in green, using a horn) to his left and the goddess Liberty to his right. Liberty wears a red Phrygian cap, symbolizing emancipation, from a Roman tradition where sons leaving the home and/or slaves being emancipated would be given a red cap. She holds a fasces in her right hand and an open book in the other.

Charles Harvey was probably one of the most fervent and enthusiastic of mundane astrologers, and his book, Mundane Astrology, co-authored with Michael Baigent and Nick Campion, remains the standard text for students. Harvey wrote these prophetic words in Mundane Astrology:

“We are going to need to develop ways of considering the future interweaving of whole hierarchies of cycles and charts rather than treating them in isolation as we do at present. How this is done effectively is one of the great challenges of the next few years”.

Another astrologer who has made it his job to 'develop ways of considering the future interweaving of whole hierarchies of cycles' is Dennis Elwell, whose classic and remarkable book Cosmic Loom  contains a disturbing set of observations about how the cosmos behaves, reflected via astrological patterns.

These patterns are neither cosy in their effects, nor are they individual-friendly. Elwell has termed their effects multicongruence and his definition is: the tendency for certain things and conditions to co-occur because they belong together at a higher, unmanifest level. [1]

I urge readers to look at the previous post [2]  on the roof collapse in a London theatre which took place on the same day as this report. Therein I said :

Pluto-Uranus which governs collapses of all kinds is in aspect to Kronos-Hades. The pair Kronos-Hades metaphorically refers to all that is in high places being brought down. So we have not only ceilings collapsing (or cracking as here)  but people in high places being brought down, as happened in the Arab Spring. Conversely all that was “down” is going “up” . In other words nations that were at the bottom of the ladder are being raised, common people are being empowered, what was once rejected or taboo is no longer so etc.

With this background let us look at two charts. First, the  current solar return for the US Sibly and second the chart for Uranus Station Direct that took place on 17 December at 17:39 UT right on the Sibly solar return Ascendant. Notice that both have the Pluto-Uranus-Kronos-Hades T-square on the angles and therefore extremely significant. In the light of this, is it all surprising that the Capitol Dome is cracking! And isn’t it even more surprising that the theme of the Apotheosis – liberty  and emancipation – is the essential meaning of the T-square!! If we think deeply what it is saying metaphorically is that the present government no longer stands for liberty and emancipation of the masses.
