Winter Ingress and the New York storm

A band of severe weather from tornadoes to icy blasts left at least seven people dead as winter storms and severe weather pushed up the East Coast on Sunday, bringing record high temperatures to Philadelphia and New York City but ice storms to parts of New England. The eastern half of the country was getting a "plethora of winter weather" just days before the Christmas holiday, according to the National Weather Service. "This storm is bringing a little bit of everything, from rain, flooding and wind, to ice and snow in some areas," said NWS meteorologist Bruce Sullivan. "What is really extraordinary about this system, though, is the warm air."

Meteorological astrology or astrometeorology (from Greek ἄστρον, astron, "constellation, star"; μετέωρος, metéōros, "high in the sky"; and -λογία, -logia) is the practice of applying the astrological/astronomical placements of the Sun, Moon, and planets to forecast the weather. Judgement of the weather starts by looking at  the chart for the Sun's ingress into each of the four cardinal signs, i.e. 00 deg of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.  Shown here is the chart for Sun’s ingress into Capricorn at New York. Notice the very energetic  Grand Cross on the angles. As always planets and stars conjunct angles acquire importance. Conjunct Mars on the descendant are the stars of Corvus. The stars of Corvus formed an archaic Euphratean lunar mansion whose patron god was Im-dugud-khu, “The Great Storm Bird”.
