Pope Francis in Bethlehem with a message of peace

When the world says, “Give up,” Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.”

Bethlehem, West Bank (CNN) -- Pope Francis extended an invitation Sunday [May 25] to the leaders of Israel and the Palestinian Authority to travel to the Vatican for a "peace initiative," as he called for a two-state solution to the intractable conflict. The pontiff's remarks came at the end of an outdoor Mass in Bethlehem's Manger Square on the second day of his three-day trip to the Middle East.
"In this, the birthplace of the Prince of Peace, I wish to invite you, President Mahmoud Abbas, together with President Shimon Peres, to join me in heartfelt prayer to God for the gift of peace," Francis said.

Cardinal Ingress charts are one of the most important tools in mundane astrology. Shown here is the chart for the Aries ingress of the Sun at Bethlehem. Notice that it is significant for the place with the -Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square  on the angles. Jupiter [10cn46]  at the MC is conjunct the stars of  the twins Castor and Pollux who are often depicted fighting each other. But Jupiter which is conjunct the Pope’s Ascendant [10cn01] is exalted in Cancer and  increases the possibility of reconciliation through development of kindness and understanding or at least attempts to do so among  the fighting twins (Israel and Palestine).

Progressing the Ingress chart to May 25, the date of the news, aligns the Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square with the meridian axis triggering the event.

Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto: To invest hope (Jupiter) in the possibility of change (Uranus) in long term problems of hate and anger (Pluto)

Notice that the progressed Ascendant [23sa14] is conjunct  Pope Francis’ [1]  radix Sun [25sa54] which is currently receiving a trine from directed solar arc Venus [25ar56]. And coincidentally transit Venus [25ar56] conjoined his directed Venus and transit Moon [25ar56] today in a triple conjunction!  If we recall that Venus is the planet of peace and reconciliation, we can understand the reason behind the news.
