British actor David Legeno, who appeared as a
werewolf in the Harry Potter films, was found dead by hikers in a remote area
of Death Valley , California police said on Friday. The Inyo County
sheriff's office said the body of Legeno, 50, was found early on Sunday
morning and a helicopter was used to transport it from the area.
"It appears that Legeno died of heat
related issues, but the Inyo
County coroner will
determine the final cause of death. There are no signs of foul play," the
sheriff's office said in a statement. Guardian; July 11
Harry
Potter is a series of fantasy novels written by the British author J. K.
Rowling. The main story arc concerns Harry's quest to overcome the Dark wizard
Lord Voldemort - an evil wizard who is on a
quest to find the Philosopher’s Stone to achieve immortality (the Cup or Holy
Grail?).
To
understand this news in the light of mundane astrology we will look at the
chart for the last solar eclipse of April 29 at Death
Valley . With a Grand Cross aligned with the meridian axis, the
eclipse acquires prominence for the place. Mars [11li] is placed on the MC
conjunct the stars of the Virgin, the evil Hydra and the Cup or Crater often
linked to the Holy Grail of immortality. Arab astrologers referred to the
Virgin as Al-Muredin, “the one sent forth in faith” so that this area links to holier-than-thou zealots (Harry Potter?) who go after what they perceive as evil (the Hydra).
In the
story Fenrir Greyback, played by David Legeno, is a savage werewolf who regards
it as his mission in life to bite and to contaminate as many people as
possible; he wants to create enough werewolves to overcome the wizards.
Voldemort has promised him prey in return for his services.
In the
eclipse chart Jupiter [14cn] in the Grand Cross is conjunct the star Sirius,
alpha Canis Major [14cn]. In China ,
this was the Wolf Star and for at least two American Indian tribes, the Pawnee
and Osage it was either the “Wolf Star” or the “Coyote Star”.
In all
history Sirius has been the brightest star in the heavens linked with flaming
heat so that Roman astrologer Manilius wrote,
“The
brilliant constellation of the Dog: it barks forth flame, raves with its fire,
and doubles the burning heat of the Sun”.
And Hesiod
advised his country neighbors,
"When Sirius parches head and
knees, and the body is dried up by reason of heat, then sit in the shade and
drink."
Finally we
look at the eclipse Sun itself [9ta] which forms a quincunx to Mars on the MC. The
eclipse is conjunct the star Hamal, alpha Aries, in the Ram’s butting horn. Hamal
has been linked to a danger of accidents or ruin caused by impatience.
All the
elements of the news story are in place. If we now progress the chart to
Sunday, July 6, when David Legeno’s body was discovered we find the Grand Cross
has arrived on the progressed horizon axis triggering the potential contained
in the eclipse chart. (As if in a
strange synchronicity on July 6, the transit Sun [14cn] was conjunct Sirius
[14cn] – the Wolf Star!)
