A court in Kollam (Quilon) on Wednesday (August 27)
settled a two-year-long legal battle between two women over the ownership of a
cow after conducting a DNA test. This is perhaps the first time a DNA test on a
cow was done to settle its ownership right. Two years ago, Geetha complained
that she left her cow to graze in a nearby area but it did not return. She
claimed that the cow and its calf were found in a nearby village after a few
days but the alleged owner Sasilekha refused to part with the cow. Later Geetha
filed a police complaint, refusing to settle the case as both women insisted on
being the cow's owners. Subsequently a case of theft was registered against
Sasilekha and her son. Both of them later got bail from Kerala high court. On
further inquiry, police found that the mother of the disputed cow was alive.
Soon the court ordered a DNA test on both cows. The report concluded that blood
samples of disputed cow and its mother were not matching, hence, giving Sasilekha
the possession of the animal. HT
A humorous
story but which does find a reflection in the stars. Shown here is chart for
the Capricorn Ingress of the Sun progressed to August 27. Notice the Grand
Cross on the angles. Delineation [1]for elements of the Cross are as follows:
Kronos-Pluto
Events show that differences of opinion or
legalities are actually power struggles or arise from resentments and a need to
push others to their limits.
Jupiter-Kronos
Experts in legal matters; expert opinion.
[Uranus-Pluto]
– Jupiter
Legal redress or expert opinion (Jupiter) solves an
abusive or life threatening situation (Uranus-Pluto).
On the
MC with Uranus (8ar36) is the star alpha
Reticuli (7ar40) [2].
Reticuli, the rhomboid or diamond, embodies the
essence of our DNA, that of carbon based-life forms. Reticuli is sometimes referred to as
"the net" [3]
Does
the chart indicate a cow and her calf? The position of Diana –
asteroid linked to animals – is [16cn] in the draconic zodiac. This is conjunct
tropical Jupiter [17cn] and asteroid Child [18cn] square Ceres [19li].
CERES: Goddess of agriculture, food and nurturance;
the relationship between mother & child.
DIANA : Animals
Ceres and
Diana can combine in at least two ways relevant to our story. They can together
refer to (a) an animal like a cow that provides milk as nurturance (b) the cow
and the calf.
That
completes the picture. We have the legal redress where expert opinion uses new technology
(Uranus) based on a DNA test (Reticuli)
to solve an issue involving a cow (Diana) and her calf (Ceres).
