First womb-transplant baby born

A woman in Sweden (Gothenberg ) has given birth to a baby boy using a transplanted womb, in a medical first, doctors report. The 36-year-old mother, who was born without a uterus, received a donated womb from a friend in her 60s. The British medical journal The Lancet says the baby was born prematurely in September weighing 1.8kg (3.9lb). The father said his son was "amazing". His birth was only revealed by doctors yesterday as both he and his 36-year-old mother are in good health.  BBC; Oct 4, 2014 http://www.bbc.com/news/health-29485996

We are now in the shadow of a powerful lunar eclipse about to take place on October 8 but which is already creating events on Earth. Very simply put, the eclipse [15ar] is conjunct the star Alpheratz, alpha Andromeda [14ar30]. This star is shown as located in the head of the chained woman and the navel of Pegasus, the Flying Horse so that it represented freedom from all manner of limiting circumstances.

On the MC with the eclipse Sun is  Venus [10li], the ruler of the 5th house associated with pregnancy and child bearing [1]. Venus is conjunct the star Vindemiatrix, epsilon Virginis [10li] and HD103581 [10li] in Crater, the Cup. As a star in the constellation of the Virgin among other things , it represented barrenness or the inability to have a child. On the other hand, as Diana Rosenberg [2] points out, the Cup is a symbol for the womb.

As a constellation, the Crater or the Cup may have a meagre and confused mythology, but as a symbol it is rich in meaning. Open, receptive, passive, feminine in form, it contains the draught of life, immortality and overflowing abundance. It provides nourishment, therefore represents the breast; it protects, preserves and contains, therefore represents the womb

The eclipse forms a T-square with Uranus-Pluto which we have seen to  be associated with scientific and technological breakthroughs. The eclipse Moon is also  trine fortunate Jupiter [17le] which is conjunct the stars Dubhe and Kochab in the constellations of Ursa Major and Ursa Minor - the Mother Bear and her cub!

The eclipse, therefore,  brings together all the elements connected with the news.
