The European Central Bank has taken a dramatic step
to stimulate troubled economy, unveiling a massive bond-buying program. ECB
President Mario Draghi said the program would include public and private sector
securities. The ECB would buy 60 billion euros ($70 billion) each month until
the end of September 2016, he added. Draghi said the bank had taken this
unprecedented step because previous stimulus measures -- including record-low
interest rates and buying other assets -- had failed to boost inflation
expectations. Jan 22. http://money.cnn.com/2015/01/22/news/economy/europe-qe/index.html
The phrase quantitative
easing is a mechanism in which central
banks print money and make it available to investors at very low interest rates.
Some people argue that this is a fallacy that exhibits the kind of
irresponsibility that landed the globe in a severe economic crisis. Easy money
tends to promote extravagance and risks
inflation. The people that get their hands on this extra cash are likely to
spend it simply because there is really no value in it. That then depresses
financial savings and continues to mask the genuine problems that countries are
dealing with. In some situations a synthetic recovery is engineered while the
genuine problems stay largely unresolved.

is the chart for the New Moon of January 20 at Brussels where the ECB is headquartered.
Notice the prominent placement of the Venus-Jupiter opposition on the meridian
axis. Venus afflictions cause indulgence, and Jupiter inclines to excess in all
directions so that this is a combination associated with wasteful extravagance.
Also notice that the conjunction of TNPs Hades-Kronos (mistakes by leaders) makes
hard aspects to the Venus-Jupiter (wasteful
extravagance) axis.
