Assassination of Boris Nemtsov

A leading Russian opposition politician, former Deputy Prime Minister Boris Nemtsov, has been shot dead in Moscow, Russian officials say. An unidentified attacker in a car shot Mr Nemtsov four times in the back as he crossed a bridge in view of the Kremlin, police say. Boris Yefimovich Nemtsov ( 9 October 1959 – 27 February 2015) was a Russian statesman and liberal politician. He was a successful politician during the 1990s under President Boris Yeltsin, and since 2000 he was an outspoken critic of Vladimir Putin. Yeltsin and his team is considered by many to be part of an American plot to loot and destabilize Russia after the break up of the USSR. If  Nemtsov wasn’t assassinated by the CIA in order to blame Putin, most likely he was killed by Russian nationalists who saw him as Washington’s agent [1].

The cardinal ingresses of the Sun have a traditional reputation as  important mundane events.  Of these the Cancer Ingress is considered by many astrologers to be only second in importance to the Capricorn Ingress. Shown here is a chart for the Sun's entry  into sidereal Cancer  drawn for Moscow. Notice that the Sun is in the eighth house which in mundane astrology is interpreted as the death of a famous person. Also the Sun makes a hard aspect to the Ascendant [8sa] which is conjunct the star Antares. Alpha (α) Scorpius, Antares, is a red binary star, fiery red and emerald green, near the center of the constellation Scorpius and was sometimes called "the Heart of the Scorpion". It has been linked to leaders who oppose the existing order [2].

As the opposite house to the 10th, those who oppose the government, king, or recognised order are placed in the fourth [3]. On the cusp of the fourth house (IC), as part of a powerful Grand Cross is the Moon [6ar] conjunct a combination of stars of King Cepheus, Draco – the Dragon and the Sea-Monster Cetus. Apart from linking this area with “assassinations” , Diana Rosenberg writes:

The King’s stars offer leadership but shadowed by the doubts and dark dominion of the Sea-Monster. On the wild shore between terra firma of sanity and the ocean’s chaotic depths, these people are fanatic, obsessive, single-minded, high-strung, nervous, edgy, racked by an inner tension. They lack a sense of when to stop, and some step over boundaries becoming real or figurative outlaws.

Progressing the Cancer Ingress chart to Feb.27, the date of the assassination aligns the Uranus-Pluto linked Grand Cross with the angles triggering the event. Notice that Nemtsov’s radix Sun [15li] is part of the Grand Cross and conjunct  the TNP Zeus (firearms and shooting incidents).
