US losing 'information war' to Russia

The Virgin and the Crow

The United States is losing an information war to Russia, Islamic State and other rivals, says a new report that calls for a strengthening in U.S. counter-propaganda efforts and an overhaul of the government's international broadcasting arm. The study is the latest to highlight problems in the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), a federal agency created in 1994 which also is tasked with maintaining a firewall between the State Department and government-funded news operations. With an annual $730 million budget, the BBG runs U.S. government broadcasting to foreign audiences, including radio, television and digital efforts. Among them are the Voice of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, widely credited with countering Soviet influence behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War. The  Full Moon Total Eclipse occurs on April 4 but is already active . The Sun conjoins Uranus by less than 2°, forming a T-Square with Pluto. The Moon conjoins Algorab and Zeta of Corvus; Beta Hydra; Beta Volans; and the Quasar 3C279 in Virgo. At Washington, DC, the eclipse Moon is the lord of the third house linked to the media.  If we superimpose the eclipse luminaries onto the US Sibly we notice that  it aligns with  radix  Saturn square Sun both receiving the powerful Uranus-Pluto square.

The eclipse is conjunct the stars of Corvus, the Hydra and the Virgin.

Corvus is the Latin name for both the raven and the crow and these two birds are usually paired together in mythology. From the same family, their obvious intelligence and ingenuity, as well as their distinctive caw, has given them a widespread association with trickery, storytelling, the relaying of messages, and the serving of self-interest. But the colour of their plumage has also drawn a universal connection with malevolence, sinister forces, and ominous warnings. The stars of Corvus share this reputation and the classical myths that relate to the constellation speak of mistrust, shameful motives, insincerity, glorification in the misfortune of others, and the bearing of bad news [1].

The Crow  is a talking bird, and these are people in love with gossip, tidings, what’s happening, what’s new, what’s up – many journalists, newsmen and media people are born under these stars. The worst of them become greedy, scavenging and exploiting opportunists.  But also here are the stars of the Virgin which longs for “truth” and “purity”.  Few other skyscapes are so polarized between light and dark, clear air and suffocating darkness, with a tremendous conflict between the Virgin’s honest, upright will-to-do good and the Hydra’s dark lair of greed and arrogant self-interest [2].

Here the Uranus-Pluto square  represents a  clash: courageous/warrior-like actions of alternative media  working on behalf of the people's liberties (Uranus in Aries) vs. an intensification/consolidation of power by institutional structures like the BBG and the western MSM facing threats to their authority (Pluto in Capricorn). In the light of the dynamics of the stars involved it is not too difficult to see why the ‘lying’ Raven is being confronted by the ‘truth seeking ’ Virgin   and we can clearly see who is winning.
