Baltimore riots

Protestors began rioting in Baltimore, the largest city in the American state of Maryland, starting April 27, 2015, in reaction to the April 19 death of Freddie Gray. Gray, a 25-year-old African-American resident of the city, died in police custody a week after being arrested. Apparently in good health at the time of his arrest, Gray later sustained injuries to his spine and larynx. The cause and circumstances of his injuries have not been officially determined. Gray fell into a coma on April 12, and despite multiple surgical attempts, he never regained consciousness and died a week later. Six police officers have been suspended pending an investigation. Peaceful protests were organized after his death, and apparently spontaneous protests started after the funeral service, although they eventually became marred with civil unrest and violence. As of April 28, at least twenty police officers have been injured, at least 250 people have been arrested, thousands of police and National Guard troops have been deployed, and a state of emergency was declared in the city of Baltimore. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Baltimore_riots

To understand this news we go back to the lunar eclipse of October 8, 2014. A chart drawn for the eclipse places the luminaries along with Uranus-Pluto-Venus in a significant T-square on the horizon axis. The Moon and Uranus are conjunct the star Alpheratz, alpha Andromeda in the Chained Woman – a symbol of slavery.

The Uranus-Pluto square can be interpreted as :

Sudden eruption (Uranus) of formerly hidden or repressed (Pluto) content.

Ray Merriman describing the potential of the  Uranus-Pluto square wrote:

The Civil Rights movement in the USA was conceived during the conjunction of Uranus and Pluto in the late 1960s. Now it is to go through a birthing process. Racial grievances and even racial riots are possible.   This  is painful, but it is a birthing process, so the prospects of getting it right for everyone are very good. Sometimes it takes this kind of conflict and awareness of abuses in order to make the changes needed to reach the goal that was originally intended.

In addition on the Ascendant are the stars of the justice seeking Virgin and the evil Hydra. About this area Diana Rosenberg writes:

There are both oppressions and struggles against them and transits to these stars often bring about major changes in laws, mores, governments and ways of thinking, often accompanied or followed by explosions of fanatic  vicious intolerance, cruelty and brutality.

On the MC is the combination Hades-Kronos which basically means that laws or authoritative actions (Kronos) are just making things worse (Hades).

To confirm that this configuration is indeed influencing events in Baltimore, all we need to do is progress the eclipse chart to April 28 to see that the Grand Cross realigns with horizon axis setting off its potential.
