The
2015 Moscow Victory Day Parade, is an upcoming parade that will take place in
Red Square in Moscow on 9 May 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the
capitulation of Nazi Germany in 1945. The annual parade marks the Allied
victory in the Second World War at the Western front. President of the Russian
Federation Vladimir Putin will also deliver his twelfth holiday address to the
nation on this day. Being a landmark jubilee parade honoring the 70th
anniversary of the Allied victory in the European continent, this year's parade
is also expected to be one of the biggest and largest to be held in Russian
history.
The final battles of the European Theatre of World
War II as well as the German surrender to the Western Allies and the Soviet
Union took place in May 1945. Victory Day or 9 May marks the capitulation of
Nazi Germany to the Soviet Union in the part of the Second World War known in
the Soviet Union as the Great Patriotic War where the Soviet Union fought
against Nazi Germany. It was first inaugurated in the sixteen republics of the
Soviet Union, following the signing of the surrender document late in the
evening on 8 May 1945 (after midnight, thus on 9 May, by Moscow Time). The
Soviet government announced the victory early on 9 May after the signing
ceremony in Berlin.
The 70th
anniversary of Victory Day will be
celebrated by the Russia on May 9, 2015. It may be interesting to look at the
stars that brought the devastating war in Europe to an end. For this we will
look at the chart for the lunar eclipse of December 29, 1944 drawn for Berlin.
Notice that the eclipse luminaries are placed on the horizon axis forming a
T-square with Saturn-Neptune-Mars – a combination that in itself implies
undermining circumstances that lead to defeat in war. But as always the stars
add details that cannot be seen clearly just through the planets.
Archer – the Conqueror
On the
descendant are the stars of the Archer which the ancient Roman astrologer
Manilius associates with war and conquerors:
"As for the
Archer, when the foremost portion of his cloak rises, he will give birth to
hearts renowned in war and will conduct the conqueror, celebrating great
triumphs in the sight of all, to his country's citadels." [Manilius,
Astronomica, 1st century AD, book 4, p.267]
Columba – the Dove of
Peace
On the
Ascendant [5cn] are Saturn and Moon [7cn] conjunct the stars Alhena gamma
Gemini [8cn] and delta Columba [8cn]. Robson states that the 4th Arabic Moon
Mansion Al Hanah is favorable for hunting, besieging towns, and the revenge of
princes while Dr. Eric Morse concludes (possibly because of the influence of
the Dove) that it gives the ability for a peaceful settlement of disputes.
Taken together the two accounts describe perfectly the destruction and siege of
Berlin and the surrender of Germany that followed.
But as
always, the test for whether an eclipse energy influences a particular day can
be confirmed if the progressed angles trigger the eclipse configuration. Shown
here is the progressed eclipse chart for May 8, the date of the surrender. Notice
that the eclipse along with the T-square is aligned with the meridian on that
day putting a stamp of confirmation on our thesis.
