As tonight’s deadline approaches for Greece to pay
€1.6bn to the IMF and agree a deal before its bailout extension runs out, there
are hopes that the country and its creditors can still come to some sort of
deal. Finance minister Yanis Varoufakis has said plainly that Greece will not
pay the IMF - an event which ratings agencies would not consider as a default -
but is still hopeful of an agreement. And there are reports that Greek prime
minister Alexis Tsipras may be ready to agree a deal, and could even travel to
Brussels tonight. Tsipras has also reportedly had telephone contact today with
EU president Jean-Claude Juncker, the head of the European Central Bank, Mario
Draghi and European parliament president Martin Schultz.

eurozone finance ministers are going to speak in three and a half hours to
discuss Greece’s request for a third bailout. They are due to speak at 6pm BST,
or 8pm Athens time. June 30
Of all

So what does
it look like? It is true that nothing …just
nothing in any event chart can ever be used to predict the outcome of any
planetary combination. And this is because we have a free will and can therefore
decide not to go along with what might appear to be the right choice to make in
a given situation. But despite the latest newsflash about eurozone finance
ministers meeting to discuss Greece’s request for a third bailout, it
looks more and more like a no agreement to me…but then I could be
completely wrong!
