Treasure hunters off Florida found $4.5 million in
gold coins from a Spanish ship that sunk during a hurricane in the 18th
century, the salvage company said Wednesday. Ten galleons traveling from Havana
to Spain went down off Florida's east coast, not far from Vero Beach, in the
July 1715 storm. The vessel broke up and booty was flung far and wide.
"Over 350 gold coins including 9 Royals were recovered on July 30 &
31. This amazing recovery occurred on the actual 300th Anniversary" of the
wreck, Brent Brisben, the head of 1715 Fleet - Queens Jewels, said on
Facebook. Ten galleons traveling from
Havana to Spain went down off Florida's east coast, not far from Vero Beach, in
the July 1715 storm. The vessel broke up and booty was flung far and wide.
And "we work extremely close to shore, which
is surprising to most people," he said. "These shipwrecks were pushed
by the hurricane into the outer edge of the reef and then they were utterly
destroyed by the wave action, so pieces of these ships have floated for miles
all the way into the beach up into the dunes." http://news.yahoo.com/18th-century-treasure-worth-4-5-mn-found-230325893.html
The first major discovery took place on July 30
& 31, exactly at the Full Moon which was placed very significantly on the
horizon axis at Vero Beach. The Ascendant and the Sun are conjunct stars
Prasepe, M44 Cancri , “The Beehive” and sigma Puppis of Argo. Both are also
quincunx Neptune.
The amphibious Crab was associated with
shorelines and harbors, Argo with ships, shipwrecks, the Beehive Cluster and
Ascelli with fogs and storms [1].
Neptune [9pi] is is conjunct the star Sadalachbia [7pi]. Gamma (γ)
Aquarius, Sadalachbia, is a 4th magnitude greenish star in the right arm of the
Water Bearer. Sadachbia, from Al Sa'd al
Ahbiyah (now called Sadalachbia) has
been interpreted as "The Lucky Star of Hidden Things". Dr. Eric Morse
states that in horary it indicates the ability to discover that which is hidden
or lost.
But where is
the indication that the ships were carrying gold? We don’t have to look far.
The Sun on the Ascendant is with Mercury [16le] which is conjunct the star
kappa Draco [16le]. As mentioned in the last post, in mythology, Draco, the
dragon, is often shown guarding a
treasure.
