The airship could be set to quite literally make a
big comeback. In 2013, the Aeros Corporation, based near San Diego,
demonstrated a tethered flight of Dragon Dream - an airship measuring 90m
(295ft) long and 27m wide. As big as this airship is, it is still only small
sized prototype - the final design could be more than 169m long and be able to
carry a cargo of 66 tonnes. 27 August; BBC

We are now
in the shadow of the solar eclipse[20vi] of Sept. 13 which is, therefore,
already influencing events on earth. A
chart drawn for the eclipse at San Diego has the eclipse placed very
significantly square the horizon axis and conjunct the star alpha Antilae[22vi] of the
Air Pump and delta Velorum [18vi] , in Vela, the sail of the Celestial Ship
Argo.
Commenting
on star constellations, Robert Hand points out
The actual images of the
constellations made up by the stars are not equal 30-degree segments. They can
vary from about 15 degrees to over 45 degrees. And not only that, but they do
not have distinct boundaries (except for arbitrary ones created by modern
astronomers). They can overlap, and there can be gaps between them.
It is for
this reason that the solar eclipse combines these images of Argo and the
Airpump to produce an airship!
The second
point to note is the position of the Jupiter-Neptune opposition on the
meridian. Neptune is the ruler of fluids including air or gas while a keyword
for Jupiter is “large”. With Jupiter[7vi]
conjunct the stars of the Celestial Ship Argo we have once again
the image of a large “gas balloon” kind of ship.
The
combination Jupiter-Neptune is linked not only to long voyages but symbolically
speaking also to ambitious or even
unrealistic projects that have little
hope of realization (dreams?). Here Saturn squares Jupiter-Neptune forming a T.
In a previous post [1] on the collapse of the stock market we had mentioned
that this T-square can give rise to the realization of “dream” projects or the
end of speculative “bubbles”. Well, in this case here, the company is rewarded
with the realization of its “dream” project.
It may be mentioned that on 12 January 2013, when Aeros completed a series of
successful “first float” maneuvers inside its immense engineering hangar in
Tustin, California, Jupiter was square Neptune.
Finally,
we note that the news comes to us from London where the chart for the current
Full Moon falls on the Jupiter-Neptune axis and aligns the T-square (apex Saturn)
with the horizon axis.
