Washington,
D.C. - An anonymous whistleblower within the U.S. intelligence community
provided a cache of classified intelligence documents to The Intercept, which
revealed the extremely dysfunctional nature of the American drone
warfare/targeted assassination program. The
eight-part investigation, which included documents, analysis, slides, and
visuals, was released on Thursday as "The Drone Papers," by The
Intercept. The insightful reporting by
The Intercept's Jeremy Scahill and fellow investigative journalists analyzed
and explored the manner in which drone strikes have been carried out by the
U.S. in Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, and Afghanistan; ultimately questioning the
legitimacy and legality of these extrajudicial killings. The stunning array of
classified information revealed an extreme lack of precision in the drone
assassination campaign, with one document reporting that "nearly 90
percent of people killed in airstrikes were not the intended targets" over
one five-month period. http://www.sott.net/article/304105-Drone-Papers-reveal-that-ninety-percent-of-people-killed-in-drone-strikes-are-innocent-civilians
The timing of
the release on Thursday of "The Drone Papers," by The
Intercept can be understood from the
Sibly progressed solar return. Notice that on Oct.15, Thursday the Uranus-Pluto
square which is anchored to the Sibly Sun arrives on the horizon axis. Right on
time, the era-defining square between Uranus and Pluto again discharges its
tension into the collective consciousness. The story: A series of intelligence
leaks reveal the extremely dysfunctional nature of the American drone
warfare/targeted assassination program. Essentially the Uranus-Pluto square represents
the archetypal clash: courageous/warrior-like actions of individuals on behalf
of the people's liberties (Uranus in Aries) vs. an intensification/consolidation
of power by institutional structures facing threats to their authority (Pluto
in Capricorn).
But note in
addition, the Uranus-Pluto linked Grand Cross has the TNP Zeus conjunct stars
of Corvus, the Raven. The American Indians call the raven 'the messenger of
death' as it has a very strong sense of smell being able to detect death from a
distance. The TNP Zeus is linked to
guns, the military and machines [1]. Here its conjunction to Corvus is a
perfect reference to a drone.
