Theatre
actor-director Mohammad Akram Feroze recently set off on foot to travel along
India's 10,000km-long border, stopping to perform plays at villages with - and
for - their inhabitants. Mr Feroze, who does not believe in borders, carries a
world passport - as part of a global movement established under Article 13(2)
of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which says "everyone has the
right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his
country". His journey, however, was cut short just a little over a month
after he set off - at the India-Pakistan border, local police accused him of
"breach of peace" and arrested him. Oct. 25 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-34600661
Eclipse are about relinquishing the past and
engaging in a new path. There is however more emphasis on one or the other.
South Lunar Node eclipses are more about relinquishment and North Lunar Node
eclipses are more about engagement in a new future due to the magnetic flow
from the south to north lunar nodes. The solar eclipse of Sept 13 was a North
Node eclipse. This solar eclipse brings winds of change that inspire new
outward expressions in our lives. With transit Mars moving over the eclipse and
MC of the eclipse chart drawn for Amristar, India situated approximately on the
Indo-Pakistan boundary, we have a trigger to the eclipse. More specifically,
the eclipse places a Saturn-Neptune-Jupiter T-square on the horizon axis.
Saturn—and
the authority figures it represents—can be stern and forbidding. Saturn is
about clear-cut rules and can come down hard on those who disobey those rules. On the other hand, Neptune represents the
capacity for empathy and compassion that helps us forgive ourselves and others.
Neptune does not recognize or respect boundaries, seeing us as all one, while
Saturn is about setting limits and boundaries—remember its rings! Saturn’s
defenses can crystallize into walls that separate us from others; Neptune helps
us be one with All That Is. Fear (Saturn) separates us forgiveness (Neptune)
unites us. – Donna Cunningham
And finally the Ascendant [5sa] is in tropical
