France
has declared a national state of emergency and has closed its borders after at
least 120 people were killed in gun and bomb attacks in Paris. Some 80 people
are reported to have died at the Bataclan concert hall in central Paris. Gunmen
took many hostages there before being overpowered by police. Others died in a
reported suicide blast near the Stade de France and gun attacks on city centre

It is well
known to astrologers that progressed aspects to the Ascendant or MC are among
the more important aspects for time analysis of a chart. Well timed national
horoscopes like that of France offer us the opportunity to look at progressed
aspects to angles. Notice that in the radix chart TNP Zeus [2vi] and Pluto
[3vi] form a quincunx aspect with the
MC. Currently solar arc Pluto [0sc29] is again making a sharp quincunx to the
MC [0ar29] forming a progressed Yod. The following extract from reference [2] tells us that, among other things, Pluto rules
terrorism.
In an Ingress, Lunation or Eclipse chart (or
for that matter even a national chart) stressful aspects to Pluto produce
volcanoes, earthquakes, oil spills, fires, war, mudslide, avalanches, erosion
and anything which involves widespread death and destruction. Power struggles
and obsessions with power as well as terrorism, corruption and guerilla warfare
may also be found.
But on its
own a slow moving solar arc progression
does not explain why the terror attack took place on Nov.13. The timing of the
incident comes from transit Mars which at 7 pm on Nov. 13, the time of the
attack was within just one minute of arc [0li30] opposite the MC[0ar29]. As mentioned earlier,
solar arc Pluto was completing a temporary Yod with its own natal position and
the radix MC. Temporary Yods are known to operate in charts during fated events
or circumstances beyond one’s control. Here the transit of Mars opposite the
apex point (MC) acted as the trigger to
the Yod.
We must
remember that in mundane astrology, the cardinal ingress of a planet is
extremely significant. Just a day before the terror attack, transit Mars moved
into Libra. A chart for the mundane event at Paris is shown here. Notice that
it places a powerful Uranus-Pluto-Zeus T-square on the meridian axis. This is a
combination linked to guns, violence and terror attacks.
