Japanese researchers from the RIKEN Nishina Center
for Accelerator-Based Science (RNC) will most likely be given credit for
discovering a new chemical element (number 113 in the periodic table), the
Sankei Shimbun newspaper reports. – Both Japanese scientists led by Kosuke
Morita at the RIKEN research center and a team of Russian and American
researchers have worked on finding evidence of the element. Their discoveries
need to be evaluated by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry
(IUPAC) and the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP). Sankei
Shimbun said on Saturday that an official announcement regarding the authorship

With Pluto acting on
Uranus, we can see what could be called the intensification on a massive scale
(Pluto) of technology (Uranus) or the empowerment (Pluto) of revolutionary
breakthroughs (Uranus) and awakenings”.
He gives as an example the
tremendous scientific discovery and revolutions in science at turn of the Twentieth Century when a
Pluto-Uranus opposition [1896-1905] took
place. “Epochal breakthroughs” in technology occurred, such as the discovery of
radioactivity and the electron, the invention of the automobile, Zeppelin, and
the airplane. The number of automobiles in America rose a thousand-fold from 25
in 1896 to 25,000 in 1905.
It is important
to remember that such long duration aspects like the present Uranus-Pluto
square are brought into manifestation when triggered by transits of faster
planets, lunations or even when either of them station to go direct or
retrograde. On December 26, Uranus which was moving retrograde stationed and
began moving forward. A chart for this event at Tokyo has the Uranus-Pluto
square placed prominently on the meridian (along with Mercury) signifying that this was one likely place for
a scientific breakthrough.
