The federal government on Thursday told Americans
not to worry so much about cholesterol in their diets, that lots of coffee is
fine and that skipping breakfast is no longer considered a health hazard. The
recommendations were part of a new "Dietary Guidelines for
Americans," the influential nutrition advice book that, updated every five
years, expresses official thinking about what constitutes a nutritious meal. In
what may be the most striking change, the new version drops the strict limit on
dietary cholesterol, stepping back from one of most prominent public health
messages since the ’60s. Jan.7 https://goo.gl/OmnvvZ
The US
Government revised dietary guidelines just two days before the New Moon of
Jan.9. A chart for the New Moon at Washington, DC is shown here. Notice that the
Moon triggers the Uranus-Pluto square which makes hard aspects to the
Ascendant. Ebertin’s keyphrase for Uranus-Pluto is relevant in the
present context.
Uranus-Pluto:
The process of transformation. The collapse of the old order of things, the
construction of the new.
Aspecting
the meridian axis are a few asteroids. Ceres
is in the 6th house (public health) square the meridian while
Asclepius and Valentine are on the IC. Keywords for the asteroids are provided
by Martha Wescott [1].
AESCULAPIA: Contact with physicians
(including the internal healer) and belief systems about the health,
symptoms and medical conditions. See aspects of “in need of or
contributing to Healing.”
VALENTINE: As with Eros: passion, intimacy, the
heart and the reproductive system.
CERES: The need for nurturing; food;
the relationship between mother & child; issues of “taking care of” people,
plants and animals; growths/cysts; herbs and grains.
So what
has collapsed? A belief system about food related issues as they effect health
in general and the heart in particular.
