More than 10 million people in India's capital are
without water despite the army regaining control of its key water source after
protests, officials say. Keshav Chandra, head of Delhi's water board, told the
BBC it would take "three to four days" before normal supplies resumed
to affected areas. Jat community protesters demanding more government jobs
seized the Munak canal, the city's main water source on Friday (Feb.19). Sixteen
people have been killed and hundreds hurt in three days of riots. Defiant India
protesters stand ground in Haryana. The Munak canal supplies around
three-fifths of water to Delhi's 16 million residents. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-35627819
Charts for lunar phases always serve as an excellent
starting point for understanding events that occur at a particular place. Shown
here is the chart for the waxing Gibbous Phase of the Moon of Feb. 19 at Delhi.
Notice that it is very significant for the place since the Moon is part of a
T-square with Uranus-Pluto that
straddles the meridian.
The following
extract from Bill Herbst about the Uranus-Pluto square explains why the Jat community has risen up
in rebellion.
The alignment indicates a breakdown in our
largest institutions (Capricorn) that starts from within the institutions
themselves as an egregious overplaying of their power in ways that are clearly
self-serving rather than for the greater good (Pluto), which is then furthered
by an unexpected rebellion (Uranus) against institutional malfeasance, a
seemingly spontaneous insurrection that occurs from the ground level up,
fomented by individuals (Aries) who stand up in protest against the oppressive
influence of such institutions. Actually, these insurrections aren’t
spontaneous; they’ve been brewing invisibly under the surface, slowly heating
up as discontent with the status quo grows. Such rebellions manifest as potent
and disruptive forces in the collective, however, only after critical mass is
reached at the boiling point, so that they appear to arise full-blown and
without precedent, as if out of nowhere.
In addition,
the Moon [14cn] in water sign Cancer is conjunct the star eta Geminorum [15cn] which was part of the
Chinese asterism, Tsing: The Well [1]
– a clear reference to potable water which we can see has become a tool for the
protestors who have shut off the drinking water supply to Delhi.
