Saudi Arabia intervening in Syria could spell its doom

The suggestion by Saudi Arabia that it send ground troops to Syria might mean the limited deployment of Saudi special forces alongside their US counterpart or a more ambitious intervention, probably in combination with the Turkish army. It might also be a desperate last throw of the dice to rescue a bankrupt policy as it becomes clear that a five-year effort by Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and the Gulf monarchies to overthrow Syria’s President, Bashar al-Assad, has failed. The Syrian army is advancing on all fronts, backed by Russian air strikes, and has cut off opposition forces in Aleppo. Reproduced below is an extract from a previous post [1] [2] where we looked at the current transits  in the chart for Saudi Arabia:

Astro-Databank gives the chart of Saudi Arabia  which is reproduced here. Notice the potentially violent T-square in the chart. Some keyphrases for the T-square are as under:

Saturn-Uranus-Pluto-Mars:  Autocratic leadership leads to a rebellion; brutal efforts to start a new order; challenges leading to a fight; toppled from position.

With Uranus returning to its own place after 84 years, the T-square is primed for a violent release. The House of Saud is likely to go through a severe crisis. Will it reform and regenerate or will it die? No one can give a clear answer to that but it is likely that the struggle may end the monarchy as we know it.

If transits are the “minute hand” of the cosmic clock, solar progressions are its “hour hand”.  Presently the progressed Sun [23sa] makes a sharp quincunx aspect to radix Pluto [23cn]. The Sun conjoins the star Lesath while Pluto is conjunct Procyon.  The following references for the action of these stars should tell us why the Saudi military action is likely to be doomed to failure.

The two stars; upsilon (υ) Scorpius, Lesath, along with Shaula, lambda (λ) Scorpius; are at the tip of the tail of the Scorpion and right on the sting. Lesos is Greek for sting, Latin has punctura scorpionis, "the sting of the scorpion"….If not well aspected, they can be inclined to strike first and ask afterwards, with an embarrassing loss of face. [The Living Stars, Dr. Eric Morse, p.85-86.]

Procyon has a Mars-Mercury nature and therefore makes people hasty, jealous, pig-headed. But it also confers will-power and ability to put thoughts and plans into action. According to tradition there is also a tendency to a hot temper and impudence. Rise and success are found with it, but fall from high position later, is indicated. Enterprises created in haste therefore do not last. People who "want to go through the wall with their head" only cause injury to themselves. Procyon gives drive and a good sharp mind. Linked with positive stellar bodies, success is made greater, but the native, in order to avoid a fiasco, has always to take care not to be imprudent. Especially dangerous is Procyon  configured with Mars and Pluto. With the Sun, a valiant demeanor is indicated. [Fixed Stars and Their Interpretation, Elsbeth Ebertin, 1928, p.43.]
