A
Facebook post has suggested that one of the most revered monks from the largest
Buddhist sect in Darjeeling and Sikkim has renounced monastic life. "I am
not a monk any more. I just want to study and fulfil my wish. Even though it's
hard, I will try and do it," said a post attributed to the fourth Jamgon
Kongtrul Rinpoche. "With a difficult heart, I have chosen a different
lifestyle and will study and pursue my dreams of becoming a doctor," added
the post, dated August 1. The Facebook post attributed to the Jamgon Kongtrul
Rinpoche spoke of unexplained "struggles and problems". http://www.telegraphindia.com/1160812/jsp/frontpage/story_102067.jsp#.V61jYU197IU
The decision by His Holiness Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche to
leave the monastery comes just around the New Moon of August 3. In our previous post [1], I have explained
why this New Moon is about individual emergence from the family nest of the
collective consciousness that we acquiesce to and uphold. It supports
regeneration, transformation and re-birth and impels us to relinquish calcifications
in consciousness that limit our emergence into light and illumination.
Readers will be aware that perhaps the most significant
planetary aspect in the current period is the Saturn-Neptune square. About this
square Nick Fiorenza writes:
Our transition into
the last quarter of the 36.4-year Saturn-Neptune cycle impels us to relinquish
antiquated ideologies and the solidifications, constructs and behavioral
patterns within self and in society we had built around those ideologies, those
which we may have come to identify ourselves with, but that have now served
their purpose and limit the manifestation of not only our greater dreams and
visions, but limit awakening as illumined self-aware and self-empowered souls
beyond the veils of illusion we have acquiesced to. http://www.lunarplanner.com/LP-Excerpts/2016-Mars-Retrograde/index.html
Just a few hours after the New Moon, the Sun formed an exact
quincunx to Neptune triggering the Saturn-Neptune square linked to renunciation
[2]. In a chart for the mundane event drawn for Darjeeling, Neptune is
significantly placed on the IC as part of a “kite” formation. A Grand Trine
contains the TNPs Poseidon, Kronos and Hades. From Martha Wescott [3] we have
Kronos-Poseidon as referring to a spiritual or religious leader while Hades
refers to a decline or abdication so that the news story can been put together
from the elements of this chart.
