The fairy-tale rise of Brazil's Chapecoense -- from small
football club to national heroes -- has been cut tragically short, leaving the
country mourning the loss of one of its most endearing sports teams. The plane
carrying the Brazilian team to the biggest game in its history was en route
Monday night from Bolivia to Colombia when it crashed in Rionegro, near
Medellin, killing 71 people. Nov.29
To understand the astrology behind this tragic news, we will
go back to the August 18 lunar eclipse chart drawn for Rionegro, the site of
the accident. Here we notice that a Mars-Saturn conjunction is placed in the 5th
house in hard aspect to Uranus in the 9th. One of Ebertin’s key phrase for
Mars-Saturn-Uranus is “a sudden accident”.
The 9th house is linked to long distance travels
and by association to airlines and aircrafts [1]. Meanwhile the 5th
house is connected with all manner of enjoyment
and recreation including sports [2].
Putting it all together, the eclipse contains the potential
for an aircraft accident that is also linked to a sports team. On November 29, the progressed Ascendant
reached a conjunction to Mars-Saturn (also the apex of a Grand Cross)
triggering the Mars-Saturn-Uranus combination culminating in the accident.
Finally, we note that the New Moon of November 29 formed a
T-square with the Nodal axis. This is a phenomena known as “Moon Wobble” linked
in our previous posts to air accidents [3] [4].
Moon Wobbles were
discovered in the 1930's, when research by astrologer Carl Payne Tobey
(1902-1980), the original editor of Astrology Magazine, revealed that disasters
occur in cycles associated with the conjunction (0°), opposition (180°) and
square (90°) from the Sun to the Moon's Node. These powerful contacts occur
when the Sun and the Node are in the same sign, or the opposing sign, or when
the Sun is in a square aspect to the nodal axis.
During Moon Wobble the
instability factor is high, resulting in more accidents, fires, plane crashes,
freak accidents, floods, feats of nature, bizarre weather patterns,
earthquakes, tornadoes, violence, Terrorism, riots, and political and personal upheavals.
These Cycles bring suppressed energies in people and Mother Nature to the
surface, erupting and disrupting. Remember, if you are not working through your
subconscious issues you are more likely to fall prey to your emotions.
