Fourteen coaches of an Indian train derailed early Sunday, killing at least 108 people in one of the worst rail accidents here in recent years, the police said. At least 75 others were admitted to hospitals, many of them with head injuries and fractures, and the death toll was likely to rise, said Rahul Srivastav, a spokesman for the police in Uttar Pradesh State, where the derailment took place. The accident occurred at 3 a.m. about a mile from the Pukhrayan railway station, about 40 miles southwest of the northern city of Kanpur, on a train bound for Patna, the capital of Bihar State. Classical mundane astrology has a rich history, and we modern astrologers would be wise to integrate more of its lessons. One of the tools used by mundane astrologers is the cardinal ingress chart of the Sun, both tropical as well as sidereal. The word ingress comes from the Latin ingressus, to 'go in' or 'enter'.
Presented here is the chart for the Sun’s entry into sidereal Libra drawn for Kanpur and its progression to November 20, the date of the accident. Notice the Sun-Mercury conjunction opposite Uranus which was in aspect to the meridian has come up to the horizon, thereby triggering the event. Among other things, Mercury-Uranus refers to a travel related accident. With Uranus on the descendant is the asteroid Phaethon. Martha Wescott links this asteroid to cars or similar transport.
