Two
of the largest groups in the European Parliament have unveiled drastic plans to
reorganize the EU - its institutions and constitution - amid rising anti-EU
sentiment following the Brexit vote and upcoming elections in the Netherlands,
France and Germany ahead of which polls show growing support for nationalism.Feb.

The Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square is building toward a
crescendo as Mars begins to trigger the combination. Let us recall that Mars
entered Aries, on January 28, and for the last couple of weeks has been
marching toward a conjunction with Uranus, and as it nears Uranus, Mars also
forms an opposition to Jupiter and along the way, a square to Pluto.
The central or core aspect here is still the Uranus-Pluto
square. The alignment indicates a breakdown in our largest institutions
(Capricorn) that starts from within the institutions themselves as they
overplaying their power in ways that are
clearly self-serving rather than for the greater good (Pluto), which is then
furthered by an unexpected rebellion (Uranus) against institutional
malfeasance, a seemingly spontaneous insurrection that occurs from the ground
level up, fomented by individuals (Aries) who stand up in protest against the
oppressive influence of such institutions.
Uranus represents change, and one of the ways it fosters change
is through sudden and startling plot twists. Fundamentally unstable, when
Uranus unites with Mars, their combined influence more often than not manifests
as an explosive force. From a negative perspective, that force can be violent.
From a positive perspective, that force can be a concentrated determination and
effort to bring about changes. The unexpected breaks through into sudden
manifestation. Old beliefs, outmoded ways of being, or constricted limits are
ruthlessly destroyed through unexpected shocks that provoke us to awaken from
unconscious, compulsively-driven, or fantasy-based states of belief or routine.
In mundane astrology we can make charts for the exact
aspects that Mars makes with Uranus, Jupiter and Pluto. If any one or more of
these charts carry the T-square in aspect to the horizon or meridian, those
places will feel the full effect of the T that we have described above. Shown below are the charts for Mars square
Pluto and Mars opposite Jupiter drawn for Brussels, EU headquarters. Notice
that both of them have the T-square aligned with the meridian. So the changes being mooted by the two groups
reported in the news is not a surprise at all!
