Andromeda
& Cetus
This
morning I listened, with a lot of frustration, to the usually very informative
and usually quite balanced morning radio interview program “On Point Radio with
Tom Ashbrook”
The
program “revealed” supposedly new information about the high incidence of
so-called “clinical depression” among American girls. The two guests on the
program were actually academic psychiatrists who had recently had their
research published in the Journal of Pediatrics.
The
high incidence of long-lasting sadness and behavioral dysfunction among girls
is actually very old news and the fact that it is getting worse should come as
no surprise. 99% of our celebrity-worshipping and excessively fashion-conscious
American girls are trying to survive in a junk culture while simultaneously
being mal-nourished, sleep-deprived, over-stressed, over-drugged,
over-vaccinated, sexually-harassed, sexually-abused, and screen time- and
pornography-toxified all the while trying to pretend to be happy and not
emotional distressed! Impossible! Dr. Gary G. Kohls; Feb. 22
In the last few posts, I have dealt with the Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square which is building toward a crescendo as Mars
begins to trigger the combination. Let us recall that Mars entered Aries, on
January 28, and for the last couple of weeks has been marching toward a
conjunction with Uranus, and as it nears Uranus, Mars also forms an opposition
to Jupiter and along the way, a square to Pluto.
The central or core aspect here is still the Uranus-Pluto
square for which a key phrase is “breakdown”. Dr. Gary G. Kohls resides in
Duluth, Minnesota and posted the article on Feb. 22, the very day the Moon entered
its Balsamic phase. A chart for the Moon
phase brings the Mars- Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square to the meridian.
On the MC with Mars and Uranus we have stars in the belly of Cetus, the sea
monster and some others in the head of King Cepheus and in the chains of
Princess Andromeda. The sea is linked to the unconscious and the sea monster is
symbolically the chaos that the unconscious can produce when it destabilizes
the conscious mind (Cepheus’ head). Symbolically Princess Andromeda, daughter
of King Cepheus, is chained and a potential victim of the sea-monster
(depression or psychic disturbances) because of problems created (and
unaddressed) by the older generation. Old
beliefs, outmoded ways of being, or constricted limits are now being ruthlessly
destroyed through unexpected shocks that provoke us to awaken from unconscious,
compulsively-driven, or fantasy-based states of belief or routine.
