An Astro-analysis of Israel's raid on Syria

The Russians have now formally confirmed earlier media reports that following the Israeli air raid on Syria on Friday  (March 17) the Israeli ambassador in Moscow was called in to the Russian Foreign Ministry to be handed a stern lecture and a stiff protest. The first report of the incident was provided by the official Syrian news agency SANA, whose report reads as follows: According to a statement by the Command, the four Israeli aircrafts violated the Syrian airspace in al-Breij area through the Lebanese territories at 2:40 am.
The Israeli warplanes targeted a military site near Palmyra in the eastern countryside of Homs, said the Army's Command, confirming that the Syria air defense forces confronted the enemy's aircrafts and shot down one of them inside the occupied territories, hit another and forced the other two to withdraw.

Cardinal ingresses of the Sun are among the more important events in mundane astrology. The Sun entered tropical Aries on March 20, just three days after the above mentioned incident. At Tel-Aviv, the Aries ingress chart has the Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square straddling the meridian. For the Uranus-Pluto square Martha Wescott provides the following keyphrases:

Uranus-Pluto : Unexpected reactions based on resentments and threats to control; to see disruptive behavior based on emergent (formerly repressed) psychological content. (note:  Remember Pluto dredges the depths, brings to the surface what is hidden,  sick, or festering.)

Uranus in Aries is not cowardly, nor especially thoughtful (think of the Syrian action). Rather, he will courageously lurch ahead even when he isn't sure what will happen next or after that, just to express some, any, energetic release. Pluto in Capricorn (think of Israel’s attempts to dominate  the Middle East)  smells the churning threats to its commanding authority… and, if he hopes to hold on to his power must either transform his management contract, to address changing circumstances and ongoing problems which have worsened, or tighten the grip of his iron fist. Pluto in Capricorn wants to stay on top. Whether he opts to do so by increasing his responsiveness to other players' adapting needs or moving to crush their oppositional influence will decide how future events will pan out.

Finally, if we look at the event chart (March 17 at 2:40 am) we find Pluto just rising on the Ascendant at the apex  of the T-square confirming the role of Uranus-Pluto in the incident.  Moreover, Pluto  is amidst stars of the Archer and  the Eagle. The image above depicts symbolically how the ancients saw this area.   The Archer’s bow takes aim at a target and shoots off his arrow.  The Eagle associated with the military in general but more specifically with the air force combines with the Archer to produce a perfect symbol for a military aircraft firing its missiles.
