Isedor
the tortoise is by far Sweden's most well-known reptile. Isedor rose to
national fame after making a sensational flight from his family after 60-odd
years and four generations. Four years and two lawsuits later, his owners are
still fighting for custody over the fugitive. April 3 https://sptnkne.ws/dY5M
The news of Isedor the tortoise comes to us just as Saturn
stations to go retrograde on April 6. A chart for the mundane event at the Swedish
town of Vimmerby has a prominent T-square aligned with the meridian. Over the
next few days the Sun in Aries will move through the cross hairs of the
t-square between Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto. Let us remember that Sun in Aries
is exalted and often linked to a hero. In addition, stars in the constellation
of King Cepheus and his chained daughter Andromeda form the backdrop to the Sun [16ar] and Uranus
[24ar]. Diana Rosenberg tells us that there are issues of bondage and freedom
here. This is further emphasized by the position of Sun-Uranus in the 12th
house linked to captivity[1] . Among other things, Uranus in Aries square Pluto
in Capricorn is about individual freedom from “parental” control. Fortunate Jupiter in the T provides
opportunity for a break from circumstances that prevent growth. And since Jupiter is placed in the 6th
house that rules “pets and small animals” [2], we have a pet tortoise making a
break for freedom!
