A stampede on a
footbridge at a Mumbai railway station has left 22 people dead and injured more
than 30, Indian officials report. The tragedy occurred during the morning rush
hour at Elphinstone station, which connects two major local lines. It was
triggered by overcrowding and people seeking shelter from monsoon rains, the
officials said. The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital and senior
railway officials are at the scene. Sept. 29 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-41439379
The stampede took place around 10.40am [1] when the overbridge was teeming with people
taking shelter from a sudden downpour. Readers may have already guessed at the
cause. Today Pluto stationed direct in hard aspect to the TNP Admetus. A chart
for the Pluto station at Mumbai has Pluto very significantly placed on the
descendant with the stars of Gemini Castor and Wasat on the Ascendant. Martha
Wescott delineates the meaning of Admetus-Pluto while Nick Fiorenza explains
how the stars of Gemini are about linkages and connections. So not only are we
talking about a bridge but more specifically this particular footbridge is at Elphinstone station, which connects two major
local lines.
Admetus-Pluto:
to see things reach critical mass – in other words although one has been able
to stand up under increasing pressure, the burden finally becomes too great and
there must be some relief/ release/collapse.
Conjoining
Castor is Wasat of Gemini. Wasat, the umbilical cord, embodies the essence of
sidereal Gemini. Wasat is the link and liaison that unites and acts as a
catalyst. [2]
Finally a chart for 10:40 am, the reported time of the event,
has TNP Admetus on the descendant in hard aspect to Pluto.
