Ratko
Mladic, the former leader of Bosnian Serbs and a military commander was
sentenced to life in prison after the UN war crimes tribunal found him guilty
of the involvement in the Srebrenica massacre and committing crimes against
humanity. On
Wednesday, the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia
announced its verdict in the trial of former Bosnian Serb army chief Ratko
Mladic. He has been charged with having committed genocide, war crimes and
crimes against humanity during the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia. Mladic denied all
accusations. Nov.22 https://sptnkne.ws/gapx
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia or
ICTY, is a body of the United Nations established to prosecute serious crimes
committed during the Yugoslav Wars, and to try their perpetrators. The tribunal
is an ad hoc court which is located in The Hague, Netherlands. Shown here is
the chart for the current New Moon at The Hague. Here the New Moon is conjunct
the MC and is therefore extremely significant for the place. A New Moon
acquires its meaning from the stars that form its backdrop as also the planets
it aspects. Here the New Moon is amid the stars of the Centaur and the Wild
Beast Lupus.
Symbolically, the centaur; half man, half horse represents
the danger of domination by baser influences, instincts, the unconscious uncontrolled
by the spirit. The man-beast combination illustrates the conflict between man’s
lower animal nature merged with his higher nature of human virtue and
judgement, the struggle between the savage and the benign. In the picture above
notice that the centaur is shown carrying a spear that impales a wolf. The wolf
– a despoiler of flocks, rapacious, cruel, crafty and bloodthirsty – has long
been a symbol of evil. The Centaur impaling Lupus alludes to the aspect of the
Centaur as a punisher of the crimes of the animal half.
Describing the influence of the stars that conjoin the
November New Moon [26sc], Diana Rosenberg in her book Secrets of the Ancient Skies writes:
Lupus was called “Victima,”
and “Hostia”(Victim, Hostage); he is shown dangling from the spear of
Centaurus, apparently being carried towards
the (flaming) Altar as an offering (or for purification); of
constellation Hercules, 1st
century astrologer Manilius said “cunning, treachery…from it comes the
kind of thug who terrorizes city streets;” this was Venus (MC ruler of Baghdad)
at the 1257 Winter Solstice just before Ghenghis Khan’s grandson Hulagu with
200,000 Tatars besieged Baghdad massacred 400,000 Muslims. These stars were
also transited in 1572 at the St. Bartholomew’s Eve Massacre of Huguenots,
Paris; in 1929 at the St. Valentine’s Day massacre of Chicago gangsters; at the
1978 Guyana Massacre, when Jim Jones forced 909 members of his “People’s Temple”
cult to drink poison , the shot himself; in 1994 at the start of the Ruandan
genocide: militia of the ruling majority ethnic Hutu deliberately set off to
kill off minority Tutsi and Hutu moderates: hundreds of thousands were hunted
down and slaughtered.
The New Moon makes hard aspects to the retrograde TNP
Kronos-Hades conjunction. Retrogrades refer to the past and the combination
Kronos-Hades is about leaders (Kronos) who have behaved badly (Hades). This
resonates with the theme of the New Moon stars – Centaur and Lupus so that it
is not surprising to see Ratko Mladic punished for his crimes.
