The
Supreme Court (of India) will begin hearing a case on Monday that prosecutors
say shows how Islamic State sympathisers are using "Love Jihad" —
marrying Hindu women and converting them to Islam — to win recruits and spread
their message. Over the past 28 months, the National Investigation Agency (NIA)
has picked up dozens of interfaith couples in the southern state of Kerala to
question them about their marriages. The women - all Hindus who married Muslim
men – were asked "extremely personal" questions during the interrogations,
two police officers from the agency said: "Did you sleep with your husband
before getting married? Did he suggest you visit Islamic shrines before
marriage? Did he blackmail you before you converted to Islam?" Nov.27 https://goo.gl/SG5AHT
The case of a woman converting to Islam and marrying a
Muslim man of her own volition has become about everyone else, ignoring the
woman herself and what she wants. The state has denied Hadiya the dignity of
full citizenship and freedom from familial control.
A chart for the New Moon of November drawn for Delhi, where
the Supreme Court is hearing the case, reflects the issues involved. The first
thing that comes to our notice is that the New Moon is placed very
significantly on the descendant. Secondly, we see that it is opposite the newly
discovered object called Sedna which aligns with the Ascendant. About Sedna, Nick Fiorenza writes:
Sedna was discovered
just south of the ecliptic in Cetus, just past the jaws of ole' Cetus (Menkar)
in late sidereal Aries, as if just emerging from Cetus' mouth. Menkar marks the
jaws of Cetus. North of the ecliptic and conjoining Menkar is Almach the foot
of princess Andromeda.
In classical astrology
Almach is considered to be "honorable and eminent," however, Almach
is the beautiful but snagged foot of Andromeda about to be snapped by the jaws
(Menkar) of ole' Cetus, the fear-instilling technobureaucratic monster created
by collective human consciousness.
Although we may find
ourselves in entrapping situations apparently caused by forces around us, here
we are inspired to take responsibility for our naiveté and to do the inner work
to become self-reliant rather than dependent and thus continually at the mercy
of any manipulative forces around us or entrapping situations we may find
ourselves in; or become forever snapped at by the jaws of ole Cetus.
This is an interesting
stellar environment for Sedna's appearance in our lives and one with a strong
message. More significantly, Sedna's passage right through the head of Cetus,
over Kaffaljidhma, the brain of Cetus, and over Menkar indicates she is
addressing (and revealing our need to address) the very intelligence driving
the fear-based and entrapping technobureaucratic monster of collective human
consciousness—the very mechanism that had pushed the feminine principle into
the depths of obscurity.
Sedna's message here
is that humanity must recognize the truth about the suppression, persecution,
abduction and exploitation of the feminine force in the world; and this
mentality perpetuating such must be addressed and changed.[1]
Moreover, the chart IC [8le] conjoins Praesepe, M44, the beehive star
cluster.
Praesepe embodies the
essence of the Scarab / Cancer theme: emergence out of darkness, dogma, and
delusion, out of the antiquated entrapments we had been living in, and our
transmutation from darkness into light. Praesepe is of new beginnings,
migration, shedding old skins, skeletons, and cocoons. It is of emerging out of
the frenetic confusion of mass consciousness; finding our new path and
direction; leaving behind old dwellings and the structures of consciousness
they represent; and getting out of our personal or collective dogma and the
darkness it creates.[2]
Putting the pieces together we can see that the cosmic
forces are pushing for the release of the feminine from control by antiquated patriarchal
forces.

PS: The Ascendant is the Eastern point in an astrological
chart where the Sun rises. The light of the rising Sun is metaphorically
speaking the illumination of consciousness to things that were in the dark.
Here Sedna rising in the New Moon chart
is therefore referring to the beginnings of the birth of a new consciousness
that will give the feminine its rightful place.
