Libra Ingress and the Thomas Fire

The Thomas Fire is a massive wildfire burning in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, in the cities of Ventura, Ojai, and Santa Paula, and one of multiple wildfires that started in early December 2017, in Southern California. The fire began north of Santa Paula, near Steckel Park and Thomas Aquinas College, on December 4, 2017. It has burned approximately 231,700 acres (938 km2), becoming the largest wildfire of the 2017 California wildfire season, and the fifth-largest wildfire in modern California history. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Fire

It has long been the custom in mundane astrology  to consider maps drawn for the time of the entry of the Sun into the cardinal signs: Aries,Cancer,Libra and Capricorn. Of these, the Aries Ingress was by tradition considered the most important and possibly to be thought of as “the map of the year”. Led by Carter astrologers have begun to consider the Capricorn as the prime ingress.
It was Carter who suggested that if the sidereal zodiac were valid, maps for the entry of the Sun into the constellations of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn would be of importance. This suggestion was followed up by Garth Allen, who in an extensive statistical investigation found that the sidereal ingresses were not only valid but of the highest significance. This opinion has been fully confirmed by other investigators in recent years. Garth eventually arrived at the conclusion that the Capricorn Sidereal Ingress was of primary importance followed in rank by that of Cancer; Aries and Libra, whilst having some significance, could be considered of lesser importance. - Primer of Sidereal Astrology; Cyril Fagan, Roy C. In this post we shall see that in addition to the December 3 Full Moon [1] , the sidereal Libra ingress chart at Santa Paula also  explains the fire. Notice that the Sun [24li] is opposite Uranus [26ar] and sextile Saturn [23sa] – which form a trine in fire signs. Moreover, Uranus is conjunct the stars of Cepheus. About this area, Diana Rosenberg writes:

Cepheus was called  “inflammatus” by the Romans: these stars were transited at the 1838 Charleston, SC fire that destroyed more than half the city, the great 1872 Boston, MA fire that destroyed 930 buildings, killed 12 firefighters and featured a war between looters and police, at the stupendous Russian artillery bombardment starting the Battle of Berlin in 1945; the 1947 Texas City disaster: a burning ship loaded with ammonium nitrate exploded with colossal force, devastating the entire port; at the 1985 Bradford, England football stadium fire and several others.

Saturn is conjunct stars of Ara – the Fiery altar.
These stars were transited at the 1788 New Orleans fire; at the 1946 Atlanta GA Winecoff Hotel fire that killed 119; in 1986 when explosions and fire ravaged the Dumont Plaza Hotel, San Juan PR; at 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster and meltdown in the Ukraine; at the 1988 Leningrad Library Fire: 400,000 valuable books destroyed; in the 1992 at the fiery crash of an El Al 747-200F cargo plane into an apartment building at Bijlmermeer, Netherlands that killed about 250; in 2003 when illegal pyrotechnics ignited the station nightclub, Warwick RI, killing 100, this was Chiron at the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks when 343 New York firefighters died.

Let us now progress the ingress chart to December 4, the day the fire is reported to have started at Santa Paula. Notice that the progressed MC reaches a conjunction to Uranus triggering the configuration.
