Yemen's former leader killed in Sanaa

Bellerophon falling from the sky

Former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh has been killed amid fighting between his supporters and their former allies, the Houthi rebel movement. Officials from Mr Saleh's General People's Congress party said he died in an attack south of the capital, Sanaa. The Houthis' leader hailed the news as a "great and significant occasion".  Dec. 4 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-42225574

Ali Abdullah Saleh (21 March 1942 – 4 December 2017) was a Yemeni politician who rose to power following the assassination of President Ahmad al-Ghashmi. He was elected President of North Yemen (the Yemen Arab Republic) on 17 July 1978 at the age of 36.

Saleh had openly allied with the Houthis (Ansar Allah),leading to the Yemeni Civil War, in which a protest movement and a subsequent insurgency succeeded in capturing Yemen's capital, Sana'a, causing President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi to resign and flee the country.

In December 2017, he declared withdrawal from the coalition with the Houthis and instead sided with his former enemies – Saudi Arabia and president Hadi. However, he was killed by a Houthi sniper while attempting to flee the capital city of Sana'a amidst the ongoing battle on 4 December 2017.
A noon horoscope for Ali Abdullah Saleh based on his date of birth is shown here. We can see that transit Saturn is beginning a square to his Sun-Neptune opposition. On 3 – 4 December,   Saturn was also conjunct  Mercury as it stationed to turn retrograde(change of mind) – marking the very day of the fateful event. Saturn transits to Sun are always major turning points for world leaders.

Astrologers link Neptune with deception so that it is not surprising that the Houthis who killed him hold him responsible for letting them down. Neptune is opposite the star Beta (β) Pegasus, Scheat. This is a deep yellow star on the leg of the Winged Horse.  The mythical story of the fall of Bellerophon  (see image) from the Winged Horse Pegasus is linked to this star.

Finally, we look at the chart for the last Jupiter-Uranus opposition of September 28, 2017 that fell perfectly aligned with the horizon axis at Sanaa. It is common knowledge that when Jupiter combines with another planet, it magnifies and supports that planetary principle. In the Jupiter-Uranus cycle, the Uranian principle of sudden radical change, creative break throughs, rebellion against the status quo and new openings become manifest in events. On December 4 – 5, transit Mars at 27 Libra conjoined the Jupiter end of the opposition triggering a violent event that will hopefully lead to new beginnings.
