Optimism
is high as the much anticipated intra-Korean talks, the first in two years,
kicked off Tuesday, with the head of the N. Korean delegation hoping the
“serious and sincere” negotiations will deliver “valuable” results.
“Today,
North and South Korea will engage in talks in a serious and sincere stance,” Ri
Son Gwon, the chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the
Country, said.
Ri,
who leads the 5-member North Korean negotiation team, shook hands with his
South Korean counterpart, Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon at the start of

Among the cardinal ingress charts, the Capricorn ingress of

Kronos and Hades are
amid stars of the Twins and Columba, the Dove. The constellation of the Twins
refers among other things to brothers. The Twins are often shown fighting each other
(notice bow, arrows and club in the image) so that the constellation is aptly
linked to brothers who are at war. However, the presence of Columba, the Dove
also here carries the aspiration of peace, while with the devotion of the Twins
to each other (notice them hugging) the hope for true brotherhood and the
inter-relatedness of all human kind remains alive. Eric Morse noted here “the
ability to negotiate a peaceful solution to disputes”.
Moreover, a Mars-Jupiter conjunction for which Ebertin’s key
phrase is “resolutions and decisions, the settlement of conflicts” forms a
harmonious trine to the MC.
Finally, we note that the Jan.2 Full Moon (also a SuperMoon)
fell on the meridian axis of the Capricorn Ingress chart thereby activating it.
