President Donald Trump unveiled the
measures yesterday, following a seven-month investigation by the
administration, targeting China, under Section 301 of the 1974 US Trade Act. The
administration has drawn up a list of more than 1,000 products that could be
targeted. The details will be released within the next few days, after which
businesses will have 30 days in which to respond before a final decision is
made. The treasury has been ordered to draw up recommendations within 60 days
to lay out specific restrictions on investments by Chinese companies,
state-owned enterprises and sovereign wealth funds in the US. Mar.23 https://www.globalresearch.ca/us-threatens-trade-war-against-china/5633210
The
Sun entered Aries on March 21 and quickly moves into
a square with Mars-Saturn in Capricorn. Squares symbolize friction, so that that this
interaction generates anger and
resentment. Mars and Saturn do not always get along, because Mars is hot and
Saturn is cold (in a psychological sense). Both Saturn and Mars correlate with stress. In its
pure form, Mars introduces conflict in our lives. This might sound “bad” at
first, but conflict and stress are natural. Stress arises when we assert (Mars)
our will in the world but meet challenges that prevent us (Saturn) from freely accomplishing what we
want. Conflict and irritation arises naturally as we approach working out our
differences.
A
chart for the exact Sun-Mars aspect at Washington, DC has it straddling the
horizon forming a T-square along with the First Quarter Moon and Saturn. Now if we relocate the chart to Beijing, the same T-square aligns with the meridian. In other words the
conflict generated by the square is active in both the capitals.
But
why should this mean a trade war? The star conjoining the Moon ( close to its
First Quarter) is eta (η) Gemini, Propus in the foot of the western twin Castor. About sidereal Gemini
and the Twins, Nick Fiorenza writes:
Sidereal Gemini is of high
intensity intellectual communication, information, commerce, goods and
services, and of their exchange.
So the anger and frustration is about trade and commerce. Remember that the Twins are often at loggerheads. While they are depicted hugging each other, notice the bow and arrow in Castor's left hand and the club in Pollux's right hand.
