To the magus, there exists no
accidental happening…everything is established solidly by that law which the
wise man discerns in happenings that appear accidental to the profane. The
curve observed in the flight of birds, the barking of a dog, the shape of a
cloud, are occult manifestations of that omnipresent, coordinator, the source
of unity and harmony - Karl Seligmann
If you
can't walk it doesn't mean you can't fly! This 71 year old woman from Ukraine
has managed to fulfill her age-old dream to skydive, even though she is
partially paralyzed and has to use a wheelchair. The woman hit the silk near
the Ukrainian city of Dnepr. She only needed help while boarding, but after
that she was joking all the way along, eager to jump. The woman performed
skydiving from a height of 4,200 meters (circa 13,800 feet). May 28 https://sptnkne.ws/hCnU
Charts
for the phases of the Moon are among the most reliable indicators of events on
earth. This is especially so at places where significant planetary combinations
occupy the angles. If the New Moon contains a seed theme, then the subsequent
phases can be thought of as a progressive unfolding of the theme. The New Moon of May 15 was conjunct the star
Algol, beta Perseus. Nick Fiorenza explains that this star is about the need or
a challenge to overcome our fears [1]. The
news above comes to us in the First Quarter Moon phase. A chart for the phase
at Dnepr has the luminaries forming a T-square with the meridian. The Sun is
conjunct the asteroid Hephaistos [28ta] while the asteroid Terpsichore [28aq] is
on the MC. On the IC with the Moon are stars Adhafera and Al Jabha, the mane
and forehead of the Lion, which Nick Fiorenza links to “adventurers and trail
blazers” [2]. Martha Wescott provides
the following definitions:
HEPHAISTOS:
Problems with the limbs (usually the legs;) lameness.
TERPSICHORE:
Dance, aerobics, exercise that increases flexibility; coordination, agility,
grace and mobility.
So
the First Quarter Moon phase at Dnepr is
drawing our attention not only to one such adventurer (Adhafera and Al Jabha) but
someone who is physically handicapped
(Hephaistos) and yet overcomes her fears
(Algol New Moon) and takes part in a dangerous exercise that requires “agility,
grace and mobility” (Terpsichore).
