The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has
traditionally been in the 'western' camp. It is politically attached to the
United Kingdom and the United States as well as to Saudi Arabia and other Sunni
majority Gulf states. The Jordanian King Abdullah II has in the past been
hostile to Iran. He was to first to publicly stoke fear of a 'Shia
crescent'. But the new Saudi and U.S.
plans for 'peace' with Israel are a threat to Jordan and to King Abdullah's
personal legitimacy. He needs to change his position. Provided with the right
incentives Jordan could, eventually, join the 'resistance' side with Iran,
Syria and Hizbullah. http://www.moonofalabama.org/
Eclipses
tend to bring about endings and new beginnings. They offer a time to
resynchronize our selves with the ever-changing cosmic currents supporting our
evolutionary progression in consciousness. The upcoming solar eclipse of July
13, 2018 at Amman, Jordan is very significantly placed on the Ascendant opposite
Pluto on the descendant and square the TNP Zeus.
Pluto-Zeus: to dominate,
threaten or confront others.
The
eclipse is also conjunct the midpoints Hades-Vulcanus
and Kronos-Vulcanus.
Hades-Vulkanus-Kronos: to be
forced into humbling or embarrassing circumstances by influential leaders.
Essentially,
the eclipse highlights Pluto which inspires and demands the expression of a
greater integrity and truth in our relations. It forces relationships to
mature, and thus to either break apart; restructure; or form anew.
This
sums up what King Abdullah of Jordan faces because of the actions of his powerful
benefactors – US and Saudi Arabia.
Finally,
we take a peek at the chart of Jordan [1]. Notice that the eclipse will take
place on its radix Saturn re-energizing the current Pluto transit opposite its
Saturn.
The
following passage from Steven Forrest’s The Book of Pluto applies:
Astrologer Grant Lewi,
decades ago began to speak of Saturn as “the cosmic paycheck”. His implication
was that under passing Saturn symbolism, we would all "get what we
deserve". That phrase – “get what we deserve” is something of an inkblot
test. Some of us may hear it ominously, others encouragingly. And both
possibilities are on the radar screen when Pluto links to Saturn.…what if we
have been overindulging in denial, projection and laziness? What kind of
paycheck can we expect then? Here we see
the dark side of Pluto-Saturn possibilities. Our worst fears come true. The one
thing we couldn’t handle looms in our face.
