A
powerful earthquake has struck a popular tourist destination in Indonesia,
killing at least 10 people. The 6.4 magnitude quake hit the central Indonesian
island of Lombok just before 07:00 local time (00:00 GMT) on Sunday. The island
attracts tourists from around the world and is located about 40km (25 miles)
east of Bali. Many buildings have been damaged and dozens of people have been

In making earthquake predictions one must pay special
attention to ingress charts, eclipses, lunations and planetary conjunctions or
oppositions especially those involving
the IC or the 4th house cusp.
The Capricorn Ingress chart drawn for Lombok has the Sun and
Saturn conjunct on the IC so that it becomes an important indicator for a
potential earthquake. Moreover
progressing the chart to July 29 brings
the conjunction to the descendant thereby triggering the event.
In addition to a “far away” cause, at times astrologers will notice a planetary
event closer to the date of the earthquake as we shall see is the case here. On July 12th, just a day before the
solar eclipse, the Sun and Pluto made an exact opposition that aligned perfectly
with the angles at Lombok completing the
picture.
