Senator
John McCain has died at the age of 81, according to the New York Times. The
Republican congressman and two-time presidential candidate passed at 4:28 p.m.
at his Arizona home on Saturday.
The horoscope of John McCain as provided by Astrodienst [1] is reproduced here. A cardinal rule in astrology is that planets
on the angles are of extreme importance. The Sun [6vi] is on the descendant and
conjunct the star Thuban. Alpha (α) Draco, Thuban, is a pale yellow star in the
Dragon. Draco, the Dragon is powerful
and domineering creature. About

northern heavens, was Earth’s pole star circa 2600 BC near the "tear of
the Bear," a point in Earth’s ~25,920-year "evolutionary cycle of the
soul" at which a turning and fractioning occurred in the hierarchical powers

This in itself would be sufficient to describe John McCain.
But let us also add to this description, the star Ras Algethi which is conjunct Jupiter on the MC. About
the influence of stars here, Diana Rosenberg writes:
Once they latch on to
an idea or belief, they tend to be entirely partisan; no half-way measures will
do; a tendency to fanaticism may lead them into bigotry, cults, stalking and
terrorism. Because their beliefs are of
primary importance in their lives, many become leaders and proselytizers,
embarking on “crusades” determined to reform their fields according to their
learning and convictions. So involved do they become in their own work and
certainties that they become irritable , impatient, prejudiced and utterly
selfish, and may go the extreme of overbearing

Also alpha (α) Hercules, Ras Algethi, is a star in the head
of Hercules which Diana Rosenberg links to brain problems. In mythology, Hercules, the son of
Zeus is a brawny character not known so much for his brains! Notice that
Jupiter which conjoins Ras Algethi is square a Saturn-Neptune opposition generally associated with chronic diseases (often cancer).
The obvious next question is “what happened to trigger this Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune
T-square?” Well there are at least two triggers. McCain is going through his Neptune half-cycle i.e. Neptune transit
opposite radix Neptune. And secondly, the converse progressed Sun [18ge] square
the Saturn-Neptune opposition and currently conjunct their exact midpoint. Together, the two
are sufficient to create a serious health problem….and how strange that the
part of the body affected is Hercules’ brain!
Finally let us recall that we are still in an eclipse season
and eclipses often coincide with the death of leaders. The July 11th
solar eclipse fell on the horizon axis at Phoenix, Arizona where McCain died. The
eclipse was conjunct the asteroid Lacrimosa (death) opposite Pluto- Askalaphus (radical
illness). Moreover, the eclipse- Pluto axis made hard aspects to McCain’s
radix Sun [6vi]. He died on Aug. 25 ( just before his 82nd birthday)
at 4:28 pm when Pluto was just rising
and the eclipse axis coincided with the local horizon confirming the role of
the eclipse in his departure.

health) and the combination can rule degenerative diseases like cancer.

death of a leader or prominent person.

who are connected with the military.
