A year
ago music student Jessica Hurst, 25, was told her father had died at the age of
56. Then came the discovery that he had killed himself after getting into debt.
As she explains here, it had begun as a relatively small debt for unpaid
council tax - but it multiplied many times after the council had him declared
bankrupt.
Sadly,
suicide rates for men over 50 are increasing. This is a generation that doesn't
always find it easy to talk about problems. People should be aware of this, and
try to talk to them instead. If not, this will happen again. And no young
person should be left without their father because of a few thousand pounds of
debt. Sep.25 https://www.bbc.com/news/stories-45581526
A tragic story that
strangely can actually be seen in the stars.
Here is the chart of the Full Moon of Sep. 25 at London. Notice that the
Moon is placed in the 8th house linked to death as well as to debt and financial
problems [1]. The planets and asteroids
making hard aspect to the Sun-Moon axis are listed below:
Hidalgo [0cn]; Niobe
[2cn]; Saturn [2cp]; Orpheus [5cp]; Hades [8cn].
Delineating the various combinations from Martha Wescott [2]
we have:
Orpheus-Saturn: The
griefs of a father may make special impact as may poignant feelings about the
death of a father.
Hidalgo-Saturn: People
don’t talk about their problems..their fears…perhaps they sense that they are
in a situation where others will be judging them by what they reveal.
Hades-Saturn: “Unseen
forces”, mistakes, negligence, long term problems can drag a person down.
Hades-Niobe: Tears or
sorrow within a parent-child relationship because one is facing an extended
hardship or has experienced some “ugliness” something perhaps that is demeaning
or has the potential to cause shame or embarrassment. Perhaps there is pride
that is accompanied by secrets.
Hades-Orpheus: People
are profoundly depressed or in utter melancholy. At another time one may
realize that a death has occurred because of a mistake.
