A $20
billion sea-crossing bridge, connecting mainland China to Hong Kong and Macau
is to finally open on Tuesday. The six-lane bridge has been constructed in just
nine years. The
55-kilometer long bridge (34 miles) will cut travel time from Hong Kong to Zhuhai
(in China’s southern Guangdong province) from three hours to 30 minutes. It is
a key element of Beijing's plan for a Greater Bay Area covering 56,500 square
kilometers across southern China. The long-awaited bridge will encompass 11

The solar eclipse of July 13 in sidereal Gemini continues to
influence world events. The stars of sidereal Gemini rule connections or
linkages between people, objects or things in general. Shown here is the chart for the July 13 solar
eclipse drawn for Hongkong progressed to Oct. 23, the date of the opening of
the bridge. Notice that the eclipse opposite Pluto aligns with the horizon and
is thereby triggered.
Look carefully at the image of the Twins. While they hug
each other and are joined at the hips ( implying a connection between things)
they also hold weapons in their other hand (suggesting that their love can easily turn to hatred and war).
The murder of Jamal Khashoggi [1] brings out the hatred and
violence between “brothers”.
The July 13 solar
eclipse [20cn] fell exactly on the Ascendant opposite Pluto [20cp] on the
Descendant at Istanbul. Pluto [20cp] is
at the Mars-Saturn midpoint [21cp] - a violent combination linked to murder and
assassinations [1] in older astrology. On Oct.1 just a day before Mr
Khashoggi visited the Saudi consulate in
Istanbul, Pluto stationed direct triggering the eclipse chart.
On the other hand, the news from China illustrates the
positive side of the Twins seeking connection and co-operation for mutual
growth.
Let us examine the configuration Pluto [20cp] at the Mars-Saturn midpoint [21cp]. Ebertin in
his book “The Combination of Stellar
Influences” gives the following
possible manifestations of this combination:
PLUTO-MARS-SATURN
Hard work, leaving no
stone unturned in the pursuit of a particular task, the desire to overcome
difficulties and obstacles at all cost. The attainment of success through
excessive effort.
Brutality, the rage
or fury of destruction. Murder.
We can now see clearly how the same combination of planets
was used positively by China and very negatively by the Saudis. Once again this example demonstrates that the
energy of the stars can be used wisely or foolishly. It is all up to us. Was
Sir Edwin Arnold hinting at how it is our ignorance that causes all suffering
in this section from his poem?
